Into The Forest (book 1)

Chapter one: summer break

I stared out of the window looking into the sky. The sun rays beamed into my light blue eyes forcing me to look away. I looked around the living room and let out a sigh. I had never been so bored in my life. When my mother, Grace, had told me I was going to be on my own for six weeks I thought it would be fun. But it turns out I was wrong once again. Why does she do this to me? I hate her! She always goes on those stupid rhyhorn races and makes me follow in her footsteps! I want to be a performer or a singer or a dancer, not a stupid racer! Everyday I have to practice rhyhorn racing and the more I do it the more I hate it.

I stopped thinking about grace and looked back out of the window, this time, covering the sun with my hand.
I glanced over to the forest and scanned it with my eyes. It was the same old forest just as always. The forest had been shut off for years and no one goes in there. I heard that it was banned because it was dangerous but I think they just don't want you getting lost. It is the biggest forest in kalos and it's the most mysterious. Then it struck me, seen as grace isn't here for six weeks I could sneak into the forest! It was perfect, it was easy, it was crazy but....if it wasn't crazy I wouldn't be doing it.

I was still in my pyjamas so I ran upstairs and opened the bathroom door. I went in the shower for five minutes and came out with my white towel wrapped around my body. I went to my bedroom and stood infront of my huge mirror looking at my honey blonde hair. I dried my hair and straightened it while wrapping it up with a pink bobble. I took the towel off and opened my wardrobe. I took out a black shirt with a white collar on the top and placed it on my pink bed.
I got out a some pants a red skirt and put them on my bed.

First I put my bra on and then my black  tank top, then I slipped my pants on and above it my red skirt. I then got some knee high black socks and put them over my feet. I grabbed my plain pink hat and ran back down stairs while placing it on my head.
I had already ate my food so I wasn't hungry but just incase I did I grabbed my pink backpack and stuffed a ton of food into it. I got my shoes and put them on, after that I tied the laces and opened the door.

The warm air filled my body and as soon as I took my first step out the door I knew something interesting was about to happen. I ran over towards the entrance and took a deep breath, here it goes....
