I had been preparing for it for days or should I say ever since that night. That roller coaster of a night. The night that my knight in shining armor became my prince.

Granted before we get to that I might as well explain what's been going on at school. Being so close to summer everything has gone into overdrive at school. Jason and I are trying our hardest to make it to the top of our classes. Granted that is to be excepted. The interesting thing is what happened to Justin.

Once everyone heard that Jason knocked him into next Tuesday everyone stopped going gaga over him. His friends disowned him all the girls stopped being into him. Unlucky for me most of them became interested in Jason.

He didn't seem to really respond to their efforts to get him to notice them. I wasn't worried about them at all. Any time a girl would flirt with him, his face would deadpan and he would walk away. Occasionally I would walk in on some girl trying to get with him and cutely yet evily walk up behind him and wrap my arms around him crushing the poor girls dreams. Rude right, but he is mine and I am his. I know we haven't even gone on our first date but, I mean I lived in his house for a while if that counts and no rich snobby hoe is taking that away from me.

Like I said before we are busy with finals and school and haven't had time. So we haven't really had time to consider the date I was promised. We talk every day weather it be in person or through text. Regardless it is manly just studying and bitching about studying. Either way we rarely talk about anything quote on quote romantic.

"Hey Princess." Jason beamed as we got our test scores back from our biology final.

"Shut up! Didn't I tell you to stop calling me that." I pouted seeing as he won the little bet we had.

"So how does it feel losing to yours truly," He smirked pausing briefly before adding "princess."

"Oh that's it we are going to fight!!!!" I fumed getting a disapproving look from my teacher.

He chuckled lowly,"Shhhhhh, Prince-" Only to be cut off by my mouth on his. He froze just as I had prom night. His face growing a bright shade of red. I parted from him before he could get his barings together and realize what I had just done. The second time we had ever kissed and I had inishiated it.

Blushing slightly myself I giggled at his speechlessness. It took him a full sixty seconds to fully come to terms with what I did. "I-erm well, that's one way to- I mean umm what were we talking about." he studdered profusely.

"So about this favor I owe you?" I questioned innocently  completely avoiding the action that just occurred.

"R-right, well," He paused still trying to quell the heat that was permanently coloring his cheeks. "I-I was, the date that we were going to, you know, on prom night," His shyer side coming out.

This bet, as with everything with us, was to see who would get a better score on our finals. He beat me by one class. Biology. All be cause of the seemingly simple properties for equation for photosynthesis. Something I thought I had, so I didn't focus on the smaller portion.

"Mhmm. What about it?" I blinked drawing in nearer towards him.

"Well, Friday at seven. Be ready." He said regaining his cool finally.

Raising my eyebrows slightly I laughed. "What" His green eyes widened  at my reaction.

"I already said I wanting to do that, you can wait if you can't think of anything right now, but I'll see you on Friday at seven." I winked at him packing up my stuff. Now when I said wanting, I really meant dying to do it! I have been dreaming of going on a date with him for the past several months and its finally happening. Oh God my inner girl is coming out... lets just shove that back in.

"Hold on princess, let me walk you too your car" He said packing up his things. I waited patiently turning, once he stood up, to walk out when my hand found its way into his own. The warmth passed on from his hand to mine had me wondering if mine had caught fire. It was my turn to have my words stuck in my throat, so I just stayed quiet with a grin spreading ear to ear on my face. Looking up to Jason's green orbs with my blue ones I could see he was doing the same. We walked in comfortable silence. well that is until Kiel let out a loud wolf-whistle.

"Really man.  Really" Jason shook his head slightly.

"Yup and you can't do anything about it because I know about your dirty little secret." He joked leading both of us to roll our eyes. Jason sit holding my hand shook his head at his friend and told him he would call him later to come over. I envied their friendship. I never really grew close with any of my peers, well except Jason but that doesn't count. I guess that will be my goals for college though where nobody knows who I am and I can start fresh, because I doubt I will become besties with anyone here.  Of course I will continue to date Jason we were thinking of attending the same colleges; not planed of course just similar types of professions.

We finally made it to my car and I almost whimpered at the lack of his hand around mine. We just looked at each other for a moment lost in each others eyes before he drew me in for a hug. The feeling of a raging fire that was once located solely in my hand had spread to the rest of my body as he held me tightly. Breathing in his natural sent of coffee and old books from constant hours studying in the library.

"I'll see you on Friday, princess" He whispered breathing in the sent of my hair before timidly pecking at my lips and bowing. He had started doing that after I called him my knight as a joke. I thought it was cute and could help but, giggle every time he did it.

"See you then, my knight." I laughed playing along. He smiled and walked back over to where we had last seen Kiel and I drove off to home to plan my outfit and stress about every bit of my appearance.
