chapter one
The noises around the four walls of the room awakens me. As I am burying my head between the circulars of my arms in the table, I move to lay my head right side down again. I woke up from my dream and even the noise forces me to wake up, I still tried to sleep just to continue the dream inside my head.
"Shit, I need to go back", I curse in my mind. No one knows, even me, how desperate I am to go back all over again in the same place in my dream.
At the very moment, the school bells ring. The noise in the classroom changes into the noise of chairs and leather shoes. Students quickly gather their things to go home. But it wasn't the time for me to go home. It is always not my time for me to go home.
"Yah! Taeyeon unnie! Wake up and we will go home" Sooyoung pokes my shoulder. I furrowed my brows. I moans, "Sooyoung-ah, no pizza" I threatened. After that, she never bothers me again. I could imagine myself smirking in my mind.
The time runs again but after I wake up earlier, it didn't make me a chance to sleep again. Silence came after Sooyoung.
The sky in the school field in front of my view turns orange. The hallway of the building is quiet as the sun is setting.
But even the time ran, my head is still resting into my arms above my desk. My eyes are wide awake but not my body. It makes me lazy to go home.
The feeling of paralyzed body is with me. My mind is empty and for the first time, it never bothers me just because it is empty.
After one more minute, the hallway noises. It alarms me to hear heavy foot steps. It is getting nearer and louder. It feels like I am drag in a dream I always wanted. But not here, my dream is always in an empty wide room surrounded by nothing but white.
Hearing the footsteps and predicting it will come by here, it send shivers into my spine. I close my eyes. I don't want him to catch me awake.
I know him.
The man entered the room and stops by in front of where my face is facing. His shadow darkens my place. A noise of a paper is heard next. He put a paper in front of me in the desk. After, he walks away silently. My heart beat calms.
I know him...but who really is he?
I open my eyes. The white ordinary paper he left to me caught my attention next. That's when I decided to wake up. It is strange that my body didn't feel any ache from the almost two hours of the position.
I held the paper and found it is a letter when I opened it.
"Hi Taeyeon, do you want to meet me? How about try to check the new Chemistry book in our library?"
I had took my breath. A smile was formed in my lips next.
I knew it. He is not just a dream during rainy days.
