"I will be recording our conversation if you do not mind. First, please start by introducing yourself."
"I am X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡ X̵̀́͞X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡. I have been working for the X͏͞X̴̛'s research faculty for almost 20 years now. I normally specialize in research and analysis on blood, DNA, fingerprints and microbiology. All things that are found on a crime scene, in short."
"Is that so? What is it you mean by 'normally'?"
"Well, that is... a complicated question."
"About the young boy? X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡ X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡. Are you the one in charge of him?"
"X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞... yes, that would be me."
"Tell me doctor, why is an adolescent part of the main investigation team charged with the recent murders of X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞?"
"That adolescent is quite unordinary."
"I have heard as much. Tell me about him."
" X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞ has gifts incomparable to anything you have ever seen. Science still has no answers to that. In my years of being a doctor, I haven't seen someone like him. He's been raised by our agency here by a small team of professionals, myself included."
"Why is that?"
"He was orphaned as a newborn. It cannot be allowed for such a child to walk around freely, so that is why he has been living in a high security building built specifically for that purpose."
"X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞?"
"That was his late mother's last name. The first name was handpicked by us."
"And the father? Also deceased I presume?"
"His father is in fact alive. But..."
"Is his father gifted as well?"
"He is inhuman."
"The murders you have been investigating are said to be caused by something that is not human as well. Are you speculating that he might.."
"Yes. We believe he is the one responsible for the killings."
"Have you proof that X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞ is indeed his son?"
"I am afraid that he never leaves any sort of DNA we can investigate. And sightings are only ever so vague. But the similarities have been getting even bigger as of late. The more the boy grows up, the more his abilities develop."
"Does he have knowledge of this?"
"No. Only a handful of people know. The new recruits are led to believe he is genetically modified by the government."
"And him?"
"He knows about his mother. Further information of his father is not given. We are concerned that he will begin to question his origin and abilities soon. But until that moment comes, we won't take any further action."
"A peculiar appearance. Has he dyed his hair?"
"No, he was born this way."
"Still, he looks human enough. What was raising such a child like for you?"
"As an infant, everything went smoothly without any complications. Perhaps, the strange occurrences started when he was 3 years old. He had unusual habits. X͏͞X̴̛X̵̀́͞X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞
X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡."
"Very interesting. His diet, is it..."
"Oh, no. He eats normal food. Although he has odd tastes and is very picky about food. He dislikes eating foods that have only one taste for a continuous amount of time. Like just sweet, or just sour. When we used to feed him only milk, he would get sick and react sharply. His feeding schedule is a mess, admittedly. He eats his dessert in the middle of the meal. It is difficult because X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞ is in fact very gluttonous. He doesn't like eating one thing for a long period of time so he interrupts his meals to eat something else."
"I've never heard of something like that. Does he have other traits similar to this?"
"His senses are heightened more than a normal human's. He does have habits that differ from other children. X͏͞X̴̛X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞X̵͘͝͞͡ and X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞. X͏͞X̴̛ X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞X͏͞X̵͘͝͞͡ X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞. He seems very capable in gaining new skills as far as our research shows."
"I hear he's approaching adulthood in a couple of years. Has he gone to school?"
"No, I'm afraid not. For his own safety, and that of others, we have him homeschooled. We also cannot allow the other countries or any public eye gain knowledge of him. He can in fact be used as a weapon."
"Why is he on the team then?"
"Because of his abilities. Frankly, he can tell things nobody else can. It's only thanks to him that we have gone so far in stopping the murderer. We do regular tests to better understand what it is we're dealing with. It's not something we can take likely. We can't control what we cannot understand."
"Is he an obedient and calm individual then?"
"Oh, heavens no. He is quite the rascal. And he hates listening to orders. Especially those given to him by the general. Perhaps the only one he trusts is myself. He absolutely refuses to change his opinion on the matter. But even though he acts rebellious, X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞ has a gentle side. X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞ is serious when in comes to the murder case though. He is willing to cooperate and does everything in his power in order to stop him. So there is balance in his personality after all."
"Why does X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞ go so far in order to catch the criminal?"
"I do not know. He has his own reasons. There are many, I believe. X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞ X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡. He might want to avenge his mother."
"Was she killed by his father?"
"I have been told so."
"Does he see his father as the murderer who kills these people?"
"That could be a possibility. We can only assume it is that way."
"In what way do the killings happen?"
"The corpses are in very bad condition when we find them. But there's never any kind of indication leading to a murderer. No matter what analysis we put them through, the results are always the same. When a team found X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞ and his mother years ago, apparently they saw someone. They were almost successful in killing him, but he disappeared after annihilating almost everyone on the scene. The child was miraculously saved by them."
"Won't he someday develop killer instincts as well?"
"We do... fear that. That is why he is kept in high security quarantines. At night, sometimes he gets outbursts. I remember when he was very young, X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞ was close to that state. We were barely able to stop him and it was a very frightening experience. I do not wish for it to happen again. He remembers nothing after, which leads me to believe something is hidden in his subconscious. When he loses consciousness sometimes, we suspect something is let loose. When we try to look into it, we get intense resistance coming from him and his health seems to be affected. We can control it, as long as he doesn't develop symptoms while awake."
"So your research material is very limited."
"Yes."
"Looks like that is all of the time we have for today. Thank you for your cooperation."
"I must take my leave as well. X͏͞X̴̛X̵͘͝͞͡X̵̀́͞ might get upset if I make him wait for too long. He doesn't like being left with the general at all."
