"My name is Destiny Delilah-Damian Valent," I started, handing her my ticket, and trying not to scowl as the flight attendant looked at me questioningly.

"Well after my parents saw how bratty and spoiled my sister was they really wanted me to be a boy, in hopes I would be like my older brother, but after I turned out to be a girl, they gave me a devil middle name.” I explained, monotone. “But they claim 'It's close to my dad’s name.'" I scoffed. The story was memorized now, a burning mark scarred into my brain.

She raised an eyebrow and covered her mouth before turning and 'coughing'. I, at this point, was furious.

"Here's your ticket honey. Your seat is onto the right." she said in a voice delirious with laughter. I grabbed the ticket and stormed off. Typical response but it gets worse each time. UGHHHH I'm either going to take my anger out on my parents or my sister when I get home. Destiny Damian. What kind of name is that?!? I found my seat on the plane. God, we were so late since our flight got delayed due to some random storm. I popped down into my seat stretching out and closing my eyes, all peaceful-like until I heard the voice of the devil himself.

"Holla Damian. You know the name truly suits you." he said in a terrible faux Mexican accent, smirking and popping down in the empty seat next to me. Sadly, the only empty seat was the one next to me. I mentally cursed business class seating arrangements.

"Just as I think Lucifer suites you Chase." I said, sugar-coating my voice.

"Yeah, but that's not my middle name." he said, and then burst out in a moronic laughter.

I give him a flat look, and said, “ Chase do you know how I know break is over?” I paused for effect before continuing, “When I’m forced to talk to idiotic people like you!” I snapped and before he could shoot back another comment.

The flight attendant suddenly appeared at our side.

"What can I get you?" she flirted with Chase, bending over to expose herself. I shook my head, flight attendants these days.

"Why yes can I-" This is the point in their conversation where I decided to tune them out with music. I stuck my earphones into my ears and shut my eyes, enveloping myself into little world of music, that is, until he decided to torture me some more.

"Dee.Dee.Dee!" he kept poking my shoulder. Still I kept my eyes shut, trying to pretend like I was sleeping. Until he jabbed his finger in my stomach and I screamed in agony.

"Chase Alec Amberson! WHAT COULD YOU POSSIBLE WANT SO BADLY YOU HAD TO POKE ME IN MY STOMACH TO GET IT?!?" I screeched earning weird looks from everyone in the plane.

"That reaction." he stated, closing his eyes and leaning back into the chair with a blissful expression on his face. I stared at him in disbelief. There was a reason why we hated each other couldn’t stand to be near the other one for more than 2 minutes without wanting to kill each other.

What was it?

Well, it all started in kindergarten...

I was walking carelessly across the playground my pigtails bouncing slightly with every step I took. Everything was so...fascinating. The sky was so blue and I felt like a princess as the wind gently bristled my hair. I took confident strides toward my friends and almost reached them when, BAM!, something hit me and i jerked head-first onto the ground, pummeling around till i got pinned to the floor. Grass was everywhere: my shirt, hair, and even my mouth! It was disgusting, and it crossed my mind how cows were able to eat such foul tasting crap. Once I got past the taste, the smell reeked. The fall, now fully registered into my head, made me furious.
