Quote Inspiration:
"We were raised together, we played together, we fought together. Do you remember none of that?"
"I remember a shadow, living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss, I who was and should be king!"

Odin was becoming evidently more and more upset with each passing day.
"I told you that you must not teach him magic! He does not need to gain that power."
Frigga watched her husband pace back and forth in the throne room, his cape flowing behind him and snapping against the back of his leg when he turned. This argument had been transpiring ever since Thor had first discovered his powers to control the weather and had been revealed to them that he would one day wield the powers of the Mjölnir.
.
"Husband, he will never be strong like Thor. He must have ways to protect himself. I will not leave my son to be defensel-"
"But he is NOT your son! He is a Jotun Frigga, not an Asgardian. He will never have the power of Thor and will never ascend the throne of Asgard. There is no reason for him to ever need to head into battle."
The Queen turned to look at her husband that had stopped pacing to bellow in her face.
"So you would think that he would leave his brother or leave the adventure of a war behind? You do not know Loki then at all."
Odin's mouth flinched in a sneer, thinking of a way to quiet his wife, but there was no arguing with her when she was like this. She would always win even if everything in his being screamed against the idea that she was presenting.
"Go, teach him magic. But know this dear wife, should he ever go against the kingdom, you are just as equally responsible for the lives lost."
Nodding her head, she turned and headed back into the chambers that held her sons. The sound booming from the training room indicated where they were. Thor was just a boy, or about 13 Earth years. Loki was several years younger than he, making him about 10 Earth years.
Opening the door, it was quite a sight to see.
Volstagg and Thor were dueling with their new swords in the center of the room and swinging wildly and destroying everything in their path. Hogun and Fandral were fighting to their left, Fandral with his sword hanging from the curtain and swinging back and forth.
And then there was Loki, showing Sif some of his magic sitting off to the right away from the action. His green eyes grinned at the glowing orb he had produced, Sif just as eagerly excited by this new found power.
Frigga cleared her throat and the chaos came to a screeching halt. Their eyes were huge with fear. Fandral jumped down from the curtain. Thor and Volstagg looked to each other for an explanation but before anyone could say anything Loki stepped forward first.
"Mother, it is my fault do not blame Thor. I thought it would be to our benefit to practice in here."
Nobody else stepped forward for a few minutes, except Sif who looked like she would say something but declined. Finally, Thor spoke up.
"No mother, I told Loki we should practice. He heeded us not to but I declined to listen to him. Please do not tell Father that it was Loki."
Frigga opened her arms for her sons to come to her, kneeling down.
