"You're so cute." He smiles his flawless, heart-melting smile. Everything about him is flawless. He doesn't see it, but I definitely do.
"Nooooo." I'm smiling now too, my face as red as a tomato. It's been awhile since I've been this happy.
"Just look at your cute red face. You're blushing." He pokes my cheek, making my face turn an even darker shade of red.
"Nu-uhhh." I try to cover my face to hide the very obvious truth, but he grabs my hands before I can. I try to wriggle my hands out from his, but honestly, I love these little moments. His hands are so tender and soft. They fit perfectly in mine.
"See?" He's laughing now, and so am I. Gah, he's so perfect.
Slowly, our laughter begins to die out. I look directly into his beautiful eyes. I wish he could see himself the way I see him. There's a few words in my mind in this moment, but I push them back. We've only been together for a short period of time. There's no reason to throw those words out there now. It could screw everything up if I did, and that's not a risk I'm willing to take. He'll have to be the first to say it. Hopefully he'll really mean it when he does.
