You stared out the bus window, waiting for the painful ride to be over. Soon enough, you arrived at the horrible middle school. Yes, you're still in middle school, grade eight, actually.
You and Jasper got off the bus, him skipping along as you strolled. You were the more masculine of the two.
You two got a few odd looks, but you were used to it, and didn't care. As soon as you entered the school gate, the bell rang. Guess the bus was late.
You and Jasper are in the same class, so you two ended up talking the whole first two periods. You didn't pay attention to the teacher, since you both already knew what was being told.
The break bell rang, and you two ventured out of the classroom. You grabbed your satchel and reached inside, only to pull out a blue ball. You looked all around it, before a large pointed eye opened, and it sprouted butterfly wings. Jasper stared in awe, as you pet it.
It rubbed into the palm of your hand, and you smiled. It flew and hid in your Curly brunette hair. It seemed smart enough to know it needed to hide.
Jasper smiled giddily and started to paw at your arm, "Coriiieeee!!! They exist! I knew it!!!" He whisper, cheered. You looked at him and smiled, "Duh, just be quiet about it. We don't need anyone else to know." How you were so calm about this? You watch a LOT of movies. Plus, You're used to seeing strange things, since you look at Jasper every day.
A slight blue glow admitted from your hair as a deep, smooth voice was heard. "I heard that, Corie~," it was the sprite. You giggled as Jasper looked at you confused. Guess it can read minds.
You calmly walked back into class after grabbing an apple. Jasper only brought junk food, like he always does. You sat, and talked about what to do next throughout the lunch period.
The talk trailed off to crappy monster stories. The sprite even joined in, but spoke quietly. What they didn't realize, was that people were laughing at them. They were pretending to have horns and waddled around "look! Raaaaa I'm a monster," one of them called. Apparently they thought they were afraid of the crappy stories.
The sprite didn't like that one bit. Even though the two didn't seem to mind, it did. It started to quietly giggle and glared at the boy acting like a monster. He fell to the ground with agony, as it felt like his stomach was being torn apart.
Corie heard the sprite's laughter and she smiled. "I could get used to this" she whispered to Jasper and the sprite, as a small group gathered around the bawling boy.
After the boy had gone to the nurse Corie smiled, "yo, Jasper, what do you think about naming the sprite Sasz?" Jasper smiled giddily and nodded as the sprite hummed in aproval. "That settles it. It's name is Sasz"
