Lightning cracked across the angered sky as pale, porcelain bodies laid broken across the forest floor. Screaming could be heard heading in the direction of a town.

A low growl could be heard from the darkness of the treeline. Green cat-like eyes narrowed as a broken body began to move. A black body pounced on the body before ejecting white fire on it. Given what the creature was, no kind of fire could harm it.

It began to drag the other ten bodies over and threw them into the fire. Though one of them wasn't of the glass-like material the others were. Nor did he have red eyes or a taste for blood. The black beast walked over to the lifeless man and sniffed. Alcohol.

The beast pulled its head away and shook its head to rid of the smell. It touched the corpse and the man's final moments flashed before its eyes. He was dead by the time the black creature got there. So there wouldn't be anymore of those bloodsuckers, it grabbed the man and also through him in the fire, given there was nothing the beast could do.

As it watched the corpses burn, the wind picked up and a new scent caught its nose. It turned its head toward the scent and growled. More blood suckers. The wind shifted and the scent of wolves accompanied that of the vampires. It stopped growling and its fin-like ears raised on top of its head. No sound of fighting. Strange.

Curiosity got the better of it and it stretched its large wings and took off after the scents. As it got closer, it landed on a tree limb to get a better look.

There was seven werewolves, seven goldeneyed vampires and one human girl. They were burning the bodies of other vampires. While the werewolves were having their fun ripping the bodies apart, the 'vegetarian' vampires were throwing the small body parts on the fire. The human girl just stood off to the side, looking as if she didn't know what to do.

The creature was studying the young girl when it noticed a newborn vampire circle around her. The creature growled when the vampire grabbed her and she screamed.

Everyone turned and was about to kill the newborn when a black blur swept in, knocked him away, and killed him. It turned, with the head still in its mouth, when it heard the young girl gasped. All of them were staring at the black beauty. It looked over at the human. She had fallen over and was gaping at it as one male vampire stood over her as well as a rusty colored wolf. It let the head fall from its mouth and roll away.

It could tell by looking at the vampire that he was a mind reader, though he looked confused and frustrated that he couldn't read its mind.

The eldest looking vampire gasped, startled. "I-it can't be..."

"Carlisle, what's wrong?" A bulky looking vampire asked, muscles tensing.

Carlisle looked shock and confused. "Nightfury." As he went to take a step further, the Nightfury's ears flattened as it growled and stepped back; wings extending half way then slightly curling forward to give it a more menacing look. Lightning flashed, making its body nearly disappear and its already electric green eyes glow in the night.

Before anything could be said or done, the Nightfury spun and took off, kicking up a cloud of dust. When the dust cleared, no one could do anything except watch as the Nightfury disappeared into a black cloud. Leaving only lightning in its wake.
