Chapter 1

Megan Foxx is playing as Skylar Knight.

Skylar POV

Today was my first day of school here. I had just moved here from Birmingham, Alabama. I loved my old home, but the area was just too populated for my taste. The streets were always busy and the noises were... well, let's just say I could do without some of them.

I just moved here with my "evil" stepmother and her three daughters. All four of them are a pain in my ass. Ever since my father died of leukemia, my stepmother thought it was her mission to destroy everything my father stood for and to make my life a living hell. They treat me as if I'm a slave. As soon as I step foot in our house, I have no say in anything.

I shook my head as I focused on the road in front of me. I was driving my black Ferrari 458 to school today. This car is the only thing that is completely in my name and is completely paid for, so no one else could tell me what to do with it.

I pulled into the small Forks High School parking lot with minutes to spare. I parked my car in an empty spot. Before I got out, I looked out my window to see people staring at my car in awe.

I shook my head in confusion, gathered my things from the passenger seat, and got out of my car. Immediately, people began to whisper.

"Man, that girl is hot!"

"Look at that sweet ride!"

"She must be rich."

"Hey, Cassidy, do you think we can get her on the cheer team?"

"Maybe. We need someone as rich as she is."

I was snapped from my thoughts when I saw a silver flash. I look over and see familiar faces standing beside a Jeep, a Volvo, and some sort of red convertible. My eyes widened as I stared at seven pair of golden eyes and one brown pair.

They were staring right back at me with the brown eyed girl staring at me in shock.

I got over my stupor and headed inside to get my schedule. I guess what I saw three days ago wasn't false.

The rumors are true.
