Chapter 1

•||FLASHBACK||•

"Mae?"

"Mae?!"

"MAE! Wake up"

I open my eyes to see a tall purple and blue dragon standing in front of me.

"Mama?"

The dragon smiled and shook her head.

"I am not your mom, but you will call me Cosette."

The dragon said with joy, all of a sudden everything went dark and I stood in the middle of a crime scene. Dragons laid around me dead.

"Cosette?!"

I screamed with fear, Cosette walked up to me with 3 other dragons. Igneel, Grandeeney, and Metalicana.

"We will be leaving you alone, find a good guild, make friends and have fun in your life."

I shook my head no and ran towards my mama who had a worried look in her eye. Cosette put her talon up in front of my face and said.

"Don't tell a soul."

Just then they all disappeared into thin air.

"COSETTE!!! COME BACK!!!"

I awoke from a horrible dream. It has been a long time since the dragons left and I know everything that happened that night. I am now 10 and I live in a small wooden shack outside of Magnolia a small town full of cool and powerful mages! I sigh with relief that the horrible dream Is gone. To be honest, after that situation happened I never really felt happy.

"Why does that have to happen to me every time I sleep?" I whispered to myself.

I sat up from the soft and comfy bed and stretched. I have been training by myself so I could become stronger and I have. I am a nova dragon slayer, I can control anything from space to gravity. I've mastered fire, sky, lightning, shadow, blood and iron dragon slaying magic as well. I was trained by all the dragons with those powers, that's what Cosette said a long time ago but I was just a little kid.

"I think it's time I follow Cosette's wishes, to find a guild and "settle down.'"

I stood up, grabbed my bag, put some stuff in it and left for the little town called Magnolia. I walked through the streets as everyone stopped and stared down at me and my short figure.

"Excuse me miss?"

An old lady asked me,

"Yes, m-ma'am?"

I said trying not to sigh in disgust of people. She looked at me and smiled.

"Are u looking for fairy tail?"

My eyes widen as those words fall out her mouth.

"Y-yes!"

I shout softly, I clench my fists and fake a smile.

"Can you please point me in the direction?"

The old lady pointed Far East from where she and I were standing.

"t-thanks"

I said as I started to run towards the guild. I finally got there I walked up to the front gates and sighed in relief. I was finally here, no more walking and creepy people constantly staring at me. I walked past the gates and to the front doors. I started to push them open to face many people drinking, having arguments over nothing and overall just laughing. I started to walk into the guild where I was Greeted with a flying table. I put my hand up to grab the table that was flying at me and threw it on the ground.

"Welc.."

Someone was rudely interrupted by me.

"Who threw this!" I yelled

Two boys immediately stopped fighting and stared down at me. One had pink hair and the other had dark blue hair, I could tell that one was an ice mage and the other was a Fire Mage. Hmmm, the fire mage smells familiar. I could tell that it was the two boys that threw the table at me just by their guilty expression. I walked over to them with the table in my hand and bashed it against their heads.

They both screamed in pain.

"Don't throw tables at people or else!" I yelled angrily. I rolled my eyes and walked back to the lady who tried to welcome me before I so rudely interrupted her. "I'm very sorry for my sudden outburst miss, am I able to join this guild?" She looked at me with a very sincere smile. "Oh its totally fine! Things like this happen all the time. My name is Mira Jane but people just call me Mira!"

I could tell that Mira was a nice girl.

"Do you have a master I can talk to?" I said

"Oh yes! Just follow me to his office," Mira said

Mira started to turn around when a tiny old man walked up to her. I tilted my head to the side to get a good look at the old man.

"Oh hi, master! We have a new person joining our guild today!" Mira said happily.

The master stared at me and smiled.

"And what's your name little girl?" Master said

"M-my name is M-mae, Mae Harris"

I have some things I have to clear up here! The front cover picture is the main character Mae she is supposed to look like that but if u see a different person that's fine with me!
