I woke up with a splitting headache. Where... where was the waiting room? The last thing I remembered was... the kindly-looking receptionist smiling at me. Sitting on the brown, crinkled leather sofa. Being led to the room next door. Seeing the splatters of blood on the floor.
No. This can't be.
A masked man holding a syringe leaned over me. I stared into his black eyes, so much like endless darkness. He stabbed the syringe into my arm, injecting radioactive green liquid that was now flowing through my blood.
Black spots danced across my vision, before everything faded to darkness.

I had to get out of here.
I struggled with my bonds, trying to break them. I heard the sound of metal tearing as I ripped one of my arms free.

What have I become?
