Lance saw Arthur climbing, he once again take his bow and arrow and fire a shot pointing on Arthur. It goes directly on Arthur's torso that causes him to fall from the tree.
You can see the poison spread on his body that turns Arthur's body violet. His eyes are widely open that turned into black.
Lance quickly climb on the tree. he able to get the stone. Lance feels empty as he got the stone. The power that the legend promise is not true.
