I groaned and looked up.
'Where am I?'
I rolled over and fell into an icy cold stream. I yelped and jumped to my feet. Then I yelped again as I staggered under my own weight.
'What's going on?'
I groaned again and fell down onto my hands and knees. Or so I thought. I actually fell down onto my 4 legs.
'What? What happened....'
I groaned again as I started to remember.
A rustling in the trees startled me.
I whipped my head around and saw a female skrill holding a rabbit emerge from the shadows.
"Who are you!" She growled past a mouth full of dead rabbit.
"I'm Amber..." I groaned and suddenly it hit me.
"Nightshadow?"
"How do you know me?" Nightshadow growled as electricity crackled along her spine.
"It's me Amber, your friend, that rides you?" I gestured to her saddle.
"Amber is human. You are a night fury. I don't know who you're trying to fool but it won't be me. Now where is she?"
A frozen tear slid down my scaled face and I sat down on my back talons.
"If you don't believe me then no one will." I sobbed. Nightshadow didn't move until I looked up again.
"Say something only Amber would know." She narrowed her eyes suspiciously at me.
My eyes widened and I didn't know what to tell her.
I opened my mouth to speak when something landed on my back.
