"Hey Matt, I need your help!" Mike poked his head into his office, his expression panicked.

"What's up?" Matt asked without taking his eyes off of his computer screen. He was scrolling through tweets his fans sent him, answering a couple of them.

"Prisoners have escaped and are rampaging through the office!" Mike explained hastily.

"Count me in." Matt grinned as he got up from his desk and followed Mike downstairs. When he arrived, he donned his SWAT attire and waited eagerly to see who was in his team.

"Officer Bryan at your service." Bryan saluted Matt, his voice deeper than usual.

"And Officer Connor, at your service." Connor saluted as well.

Matt nodded in acknowledgment before taking his gun off of the rack, making sure it was loaded.

"You'll never catch me alive!" Gunner declared cockily.

"Then I'll catch you dead then." Bryan countered.

"In three...two...one...go!" Mike counted down from where he was sitting on the stairs.

Connor was the first one to fall after receiving a bullet to the head from Gunner.

"Wait, I need to reload!" Bryan pleaded with J-Fred.

J-Fred showed no mercy.

Instead, he shot Bryan in the head, killing him instantly. Matt watched as his body collapsed to the dark gray carpeted floor, calculating who was left.

Kevin, J-Fred, and Gunner were waiting for him to make a move, taunting him.

This is it, it's all up to me, Matt thought with grim determination as he gripped his gun tighter.

Currently he was trapped in the bathroom, trying desperately to avoid getting shot and decided what to do next. His options were limited to trying to pick them off from where he was trapped or charge towards them and use their surprise to give him the advantage.

He chose the first option, deciding to be smart about his actions.

He fired of a couple of shots, neither of them hitting his target, which was J-Fred. Kevin picked up a chair and charged towards him, using it as a shield.

Matt fought valiantly, trying to shoot him from around the chair to no avail. Kevin was now only a foot away, the barrel of his gun aimed at Matt's forehead.

That was when Matt's gun jammed.

"Nice try Matt." Kevin smirked as he lowered the chair and shot Matt directly in the forehead.

"Ow!" Matt winced, rubbing the area where the NERF bullet hit him. Even though they were foam, Kevin had basically shot him from point blank range.

"And the bad guys win once again!" Mike announced from where he was sitting on the black carpeted staircase, watching the whole battle occur with glee.

"No fair, whoever used this gun last didn't put any ammo in it!" Connor protested as he pretended to pout, folding his arms across his chest with a scowl. He was still sitting by the fridge where he had gotten shot by Gunner, fiddling with his blue and orange NERF gun.

"Aw poopsie!" Kevin teased him, twirling his gun in his hand and nearly dropping it in the process.

"I was so close, I could've won!" Matt groaned in mild annoyance from where he was standing outside the bathroom, fixing his gun.

"But you didn't." J-Fred pointed out with a smirk.

Matt shot him in the head as revenge, satisfied to see the bullet bounce off the tip of J-Fred's nose.

"Hey, what was that for?" J-Fred covered his nose with his hand to protect it.

"I was aiming for the biggest part of your face." Matt shrugged, earning laughs from the others.

"Click here to see some of our other battles and don't forget we do battles like this Monday through Friday. High five!" Mike high fived the camera, signaling the end of the recording.

"Hey Matt, you up for recording a Team Edge gaming video?" Connor asked.

"Nah, I promised Amanda that I'd eat lunch with her today." Matt shrugged apologetically.

"It's all good, see you later then!" Connor waved goodbye as he disappeared into his office with J-Fred to choose a game to play.

"Adios!" Bryan patted Matt on the back on his way out of the office.

When Matt got home, he could smell that Amanda was cooking something amazing in the kitchen, the smell wafting towards him once he opened the door.

"Hey girlie!" Matt scooped Luna off of the floor in front of the tv, kissing her forehead before walking over to Amanda to see what she was cooking.

"You're just in time for lunch." She smiled, briefly kissing him on the lips.

"Mmm, I love chicken." Matt licked his lips as he looked at the contents in the pan. There were also several vegetables mixed in that he couldn't identify.

Luna kicked her little chubby legs excitedly, grabbing a few strands of Amanda's hair and tried to eat it.

"I think she's hungry too." Matt managed to move her away just in time before she put the hair in her mouth.

"By the way, I meant to tell you that Chad called and said he would love to collaborate with you today if you were open." Amanda informed him, scooping some of the chicken mix onto a plate.

"Sounds cool!" Matt nodded in appreciation as he sat Luna down on the floor again so she could play with her toys. He then took the plate Amanda offered him and sat down at the table, quickly eating so he could get back to work.

"What are you doing when you get back to the office?" Amanda sat down by Matt and began to eat her own lunch.

"Making a Team Edge video, it's gonna be dope." Matt spoke through a mouthful of food.

"Have fun, I'll see you when you get home." Amanda gave Matt another kiss as he practically ran out the door.

The first thing Matt noticed when he returned was that the door was left wide open, which was unusual. He cautiously stepped inside, closing the door behind him.

"Hello?" Matt frowned as he scanned the dark office for signs of anyone. Everything was eerily quiet, which was surprising.

"Hello Matthias." An unfamiliar voice spoke from the shadows, startling Matt. It was a deep baritone that sounded robotic.

"Are you trying to prank me Mike?" Matt chuckled weakly.

"Come warrior, it is time to have another battle across the galaxy." Before Matt could comprehend what was happening, he felt a gloved hand cover his mouth.

He struggled to fight back, yelling for help as he fought for air. His vision was quickly being peppered with black dots that threatened to encompass him.

"What is it that you would always say after your battle? Ah yes...high five." The voice chuckled as Matt lost consciousness.
