The next day I woke up with a huge headache. Probably because I went to sleep thinking about Niall and what I would do if I ever met him again. I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I took a glance at the mirror and screamed. Ughh I thought. I had a huge pimple on my forehead and I never got pimples. All the stress was building up on me.

I showered and got dressed, applying concealer to my pimple. Unfortunately, it was still visible. I went downstairs and the mouthwatering smell of maple syrup wafted past my nose. "Yay! Pancakes!" I exclaimed.

My mom laughed. "Oh, you thought these were for you?" I nodded. "They're for the new neighbors."

"New neighbors?" I asked.

"Yeah. They moved in late last night. I just wanted to give them a welcoming gift," my mom explained.

"No offense, but don't you think that giving pancakes is kind of lame?" My mom looked at me with flames in her eyes.

"No I don't think it's lame. And you'll also be giving them a fruit basket," my mom said.

"Did I just here you say that I'm supposed to give the welcoming gifts?" I asked in shock.

"Yes, and I need you to go do that right now because your brother and father have to be picked up from the lake because the car has a flat tire." I looked at my mom in disbelief. She seriously expected ME to go and give some random strangers food. Who does that?

Eventually, I found myself walking across the grass to the neighbors house. I rang the doorbell a few times and the door finally opened. My eyes widened at who was standing before me. It was Harry Styles (as I learned from my research). He was wearing only blue boxers and his hair was a mess.

"Hello, good morning," he said. "If you want an autograph, come back later." He was about to close the door when I put my foot at the doorstep.

I gulped. "Um...no. Actually I'm your new neighbor and...uh...my mom told me to come and give you this." I stuck out the pancakes and the fruit basket out in front of me.

Harry looked embarrassed. "Oh...that's very kind of you. I'll just go and --" he was cut off by another boy.

"Who's there?" the other boy shouted. The voice seemed familiar. The boy came into view and my jaw dropped when I saw Niall. I wasn't aware my mouth was open until Harry leaned towards me and whispered "You're mouth is open." I am such an idiot...I know.

I quickly straightened up and closed my mouth, suddenly self concious about myself. "I'll just go now..." I turned around, when someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. It was Niall.

"Hello love. I remember you. We have to stop bumping into each other like this. Brie's the name, am I right?"

He remembered my name I thought. My heart was beating faster and faster each second. "Yeah," I managed to reply.

"Good because I haven't been able to get you out of my head," Niall said. My eyes widened.
