End of the world~

The sun was setting...

The black swordsman opened his eyes and looked all around himself in his surroundings and realized he was...above the floating castle in Aincrad. In the sunsetting sky.

Was that even possible? Didn't he die? If he was dead....wait. He remembered just as Kayaba stabbed him, even though Kirito's HP dropped, he still was alive long enough to stab Kayaba back...

That also means...He lost Sinon...

"Kirito-kun.." 

Kirito's eyes widened and he turned to his right to see a girl with short brown/black hair standing in a green attire....

"Sinon...How..." He ran over to her and Sinon put her hands on both sides of his cheeks as he wrapped his arms tightly around her and kissed her gently. 

They finally broke apart and looked into each other's eyes and held each other closely.

"I thought I lost you for good....." Kirito tried to hold back tears, but a couple slipped down his cheeks and Sinon wiped them away.

"I know..but I'm here and I'm not gonna go anywhere, Kirito-kun." She promised.

"Isn't this world beautiful.." Kirito and Sinon both looked over and saw a tall man that had grayish light brown hair in some kind of lab coat with glasses.

"You're Akihiko Kayaba...I..how..." Kirito could barely put anything into words.

"Yes I'am...or..whats left of him.." Kayaba said.

Sinon looked at Kirito with a slight strange look, then looked back at Kayaba ready to listen to anything he's got to say.

"Why did you create all of this..why did you trap everyone in this game and make it life or death?" Kirito asked him wanting to know as much as he could.

"You know...its been so long, that I've forgotten the true reason I did.." Kayaba answered honestly.

"I see..but since the game is finally over..what about the players who already died? Could they somehow be alive again?" Kirito asked and Kayaba shook his head...

Kirito sighed accepting the truth.

"I've always dreamt of a floating castle in the sky...I wanted to make my own world happen and it did finally...Kirito I know I don't deserve to ask this of you, but I'm going to anyways. This alone is up to you for you to choose. Will you carry on my dream of my virtual world and carry this seed?" Kayaba asked him.

"I...yes. I will." Kirito agreed. Kayaba handed Kirito a small golden egg shaped seed.

"Thank you, Kirito. May you both carry on my wishes and good luck....",

Kayaba faded as if he evaporated..like he never was truly there.

Kirito held the seed close and then averted his gaze from there to Sinon.

Everything from the bottom was breaking, shattering and fading from existence.

Sinon had tears fall down her cheeks looking down specifically at a lot house near the lake that was already crumbling.

Kirito pulled her into his arms tightly and held her close to his chest.

"Kirito-kun..were losing our home...what If we don't see each other in person...what if we-" Kirito cut Sinon off by pressing his lips to hers, then looked straight into her eyes.

"Its going to be alright. Didn't we promise each other no matter what we would meet up in the real world?" He asked her as he smiled to help calm her which worked.

"Yeah we did...hey...Kirito-kun..I never knew you're real name...Ill tell you mine too.." Sinon smiled softly.

"Sure. My real name is Kazuto Kirigaya." Kirito said.

"I'm Shino Asada." Sinon replied.

"Shino Asada..I love it, Shino. I love it more than Sinon." Kirito gently pecked her forehead.

Everything around them was fading more quickly.

Kirito and Sinon both wrapped each other close and kissed one last time.

Sinon had tears fall down her cheeks, but she kept her smile on her face knowing with all her heart she was going to see him again in the real world.

"I'll see you soon, Shino Asada..I love you." Kirito whispered sweetly to her.

"I'll see you soon too, Kazuto Kirigaya..I love you, too."

They kissed one last time and then everything around them including themselves faded completely.
