Thomas stared up to the ceiling since the moment he had arrived to his bedroom. Ever since, he tried to comprehend things as they were but that seemed rather impossible. The words danced around his head, the letters jumped around and he syllables confused him more than anything that day. Ava Paige's words roamed round and round his head causing him to have a hard head ache. Thomas groaned and slammed his wings against his mattress in an failed attempt to silent the voices in his head.

He would have to face a demon in less than 24 hours. Not a full demon, but still a demon. A mischievous,  manipulative and evil to the core creature that wanted nothing but to see him curl up in a small wall and cry his eyes out while he would be destroying the poor humans life. He had to stop that from happening. No matter what.

Suddenly, the room was filled with a loud thumbing sound. Thumb, Thumb, Thumb. Thomas brought his hands up to cover his ears as he groaned loudly. He wasn't exactly sure what caused that thumbing sound; His heart, or his head. But for one thing he was sure. That If he wasn't careful, he'd end up screwing things. Big time.

The brunet closed his eyes and curled up to his side as he brought his wings around himself in order to keep him warm. Suddenly, all the noises went quiet and everything got wrapped up inside a black veil.

He leaned against the metal fence and squeezed his head as much as he could in the space between the two metal bars

He leaned against the metal fence and squeezed his head as much as he could in the space between the two metal bars. He took a sniff of the air of the other side and wrinkled his nose. Even the air around there smelled. . . weird.

"Well, aren't you a noisy cat?" Said a thick British voice, but even Thomas looked around, he couldn't spot the source of the sound.

"I'm just curious. . ." He whispered and back away from the bars. However, instead of putting his head back on the bars, he instead stuck his hand through it and waved it around as if trying to spot any obstacles.

The boy chuckled. "An curious angel. Well that's new."

Thomas shook his head. "Aren't you curious of what exists in our side?"

"Curiosity killed the cat, my angel."

Suddenly he felt an hand wrapped around at his own and something like an electric wave ran through his body. Jolts of pain went deep into his body into the very core of his bones, and according to the low groan the voice let out, Thomas thought that the boy had felt it too. Both of them had felt it, which drove Thomas more and more confused as to what it was happening.

Not even a mere moment after, they both let go of each other's hands and scooted backwards. Thomas groaned in pain as he held his hand and tears started to stream down his pale cheeks. The pain was insufferable. How could a simple touch cause such a pain? What had happened?
