"Are you ready?"

Tanong ni Manang while kinakabit yung necklace.

Napairap na lang ako, I am not ready pa kasi! Kahit ang ganda ng suot ko, I'm still not ready! I am wearing a nude dress made by the well-known designer here in the Philippines and a black stilettos from YSL.

"Bea, tara na!"

Sigaw ni Mommy kaya naman napatayo na ko,

"Bye manang!"

Pagpapaalam ko and kissed her on the cheek.

Pagkababa ko, I saw my Mom talking on the phone.

"Oh, here na pala. We are going, bye!"

She said on the phone and lumapit sakin with a smile.

"You are so gorgeous my Beatriz."

She said and I just nodded. But inside, I'm rolling my eyes.

"Pogi ako, Mom."

Bulong ko sa sarili ko,

"Pogi ka?"

Tanong ni Mommy kaya nagulat naman ako, napalakas na naman ba yung bulong ko? Shet.

"Huh? Sabi ko pogi siguro ni Thirds."

Kahit labag na labag sa aking kaloob-looban, sinabi ko pa din.

Pumasok na kami sa car and umalis na.

"Ganda ng kapatid ko ha?"

Pambobola at pang-aasar ni Kuya Loel.

"Lul. You know that I am pogi, kuya."

Sagot ko pabulong and tumawa kaming dalawa. Yes, he knows that I'm not straight.

After almost an hour ng asaran at kwentuhan namin ni Kuya, dumating na kami sa hotel ng Ravena and sa entrance, I saw the sign saying:

Pagkapasok namin, I saw Ate Alyssa together with Ate Den. I'm so jealous of them, ay di pala! Mas jealous si Kiefs.

Ate Ly and Ate Den was my teammate. Yes, I played Volleyball when I was in college.

"Baby besh!"

Bati ni Ate Ly when she saw me,

"Hey beh."

Bati ni Ate Den,

Di ko maiwasang mapatingin sa kamay nila dahil ang higpit ng hawak nila sa isa't isa.

"Ang daming tao huh?"

Tanong ko while inikot yung tingin,

"Duh! Of course madaming tao! It is the engagement party of a princess and a prince."

I cringe sa sinabi ni Ate Den kaya natawa sila.

"It's more like a princess who also likes a princess and a prince."

I joked and they laughed.

My family is well known because of our wealth, same sa Ravena's. That's the reason why I don't have that much of a friend noong college, baka daw pag nagkagalit kami, kasuhan ko agad. Kaya I introduced myself only as Bea and kapag tinanong nila yung full name ko, kinakabahan agad ako. They think of me as a beast!

I sat sa table nila Ate Den instead of our family's table,

After ten minutes nag-start na yung program and I'm so bored to death.
