You look at me with unseen eyes,
your tears piercing the floor
Meandering through the hallway,
untill you cant take anymore
You fall upon the cold pavement,
the pain and sadness fills your face
The trembling of your lips,
doesn't stop to take its place
I come out of the shadows
to question whats wrong,
but you continue to glare at stone,
as your silence grows so strong
In effort to bring comfort,
I sit by and stay
but you proceed to create rivers
though there was not much i could say
The clock begins to chime
children begin to scatter
as they arrived at the place
where everything mattered
They see the moisture on the stairs
murky footprints of where we had been
as they question, "what happened?"
"did someone commit a sin?"
I still ponder on why you cried
what had devastated you so
still, i receive no reply
still, so much i long to know
