I'm so sorry about not updating. I have good reason why I haven't but does anyone really give a shit? I don't blame you. Anyway, here's chapter one! (:

Izzy's POV

"Ready for the big move?" my best friend Katherine asked

I moved in with her about two months ago.

"As ready as I'll ever be."

We were on our way to the airport so I can leave for L.A

Kat is staying here because she has family here and didn't want to leave them behind.

I got a job in L.A

I got a modeling job.

It's not exactly the dream job but getting that is leading up to my dream.

"Call me as soon as you land," she says as we pull up to the airport.

"I will."

We got to the airport and I hugged her, said our final goodbyes, and went to my gate number.

My heart is beating so fast that I'm scared it might beat out of my chest.

They call my flight number soon after I get to the gate and I get up to board the plane.

I got seat 32C so I'm next to a window which is great.

The flight didn't feel as long as it actually was.

We got to California in, what seemed like, record time.

I got a taxi from the airport to my apartment building.

I bought an apartment online before I moved. (Can you actually do that? Probably not. Do I care? Nope.)

My apartment is on the third floor right next to the stairs.

It's a small apartment but it's very cute.

I put my stuff down and started to put my clothes away. The apartment came furnished so I don't have to buy everything.

About two hours into unpacking, I remembered seeing a coffee shop across the street on the taxi ride here.

I decided that I deserved a coffee and started walking.

"Hi, what can I get for you?" A cute brunette said from behind the counter

"Just an iced coffee, please," I said

I told him my name and went to sit down.

When he called my name, I got my coffee and started to leave.

As I got to the door and started to walk out, I heard someone say something that sounded like "Hey, isn't that the girl you were texting a while ago?" but I ignored it and headed home.
