There's a whale of a tale
About the tail of a whale
That they tell at the bottom
of the sea
They'll tell the tale there
To a shovel and pail
But they won't tell their
tale to me
So I sniff around town
Like a deranged blood hound
For that someone who
is telling it free
For I so want to know
And I can't let it go
And I fear shall drive
me crazy
So I take lots of time
With no rhythm or rhyme
Trying so hard to make
them all see
If no one knows the tale
The whale will never prevail
And his story will become
history
