"(F/n) do you like anyone yet?" Your friend mischievously smirked as she tilted her head in sheer curiosity

"The answer to that question is beyond a doubt" You muttered making your friend tilt her head

"Answer me properly" She pouted, then this pink haired girl flung herself onto a certain light blue haired male which made you slightly frown

"Why do you always have to answer vaguely" She then noticed your attention was somewhere else and followed your gaze to see Momoi clutching on Kuroko's arm

"Because my words won't change anything"

-Seirin-

While you were on your way to join the school's volleyball club, you passed by the gym and halted.

'Maybe I should ask for directions...' You thought

After attending Teiko, during summer you developed a liking to the sport. Your passion for it might still be weak, you still went to pursue your dream.

"(L/n)-san?" Kuroko's voice echoed through the gym which made you jump

"Kuroko? Ah, I didn't expect to meet you here" You nervously greeted the rest of the team as well

On that day, your bond with Kuroko started and it slowly, both striving to take your teams to the nationals.

-Winter Cup-

You came to watch the match of Seirin vs. Touou. Seeing Aomine bean asshole to Kuroko irked you to no end. Once Kuroko was benched you immediately ran down and ask Riko to help who ushered him to meet you in their changing room.

"(L/n)-san..." Tears continued to fall from his blue eye his, eyes swollen from crying. You wrapped your arms around him as he buried his face into your shoulder

"I believe you can defeat Aomine, you're not alone, you've changed, and you have the whole Seirin team and your friends to back you up" You told him whilst rubbing his back to sooth him

"Don't avoid the pain, don't keep the answer inside your heart... don't be afraid of losing what you have because you're never alone" You added while pulling back but you held both his hands

"(L/n)-san..." His eyes widened as his eyes made contact with yours

"You can do it. Keep that in mind until you also bring back Akashi and Aomine" Kuroko wiped his eyes and let a smile crawl onto his lips

"Thank you (L/n)-san." He leaned forward and gave you a quick peck on your lips

"I'll make sure to help the team win." With that he hugged you once more before running back to the court with his new found courage

But that doesn't mean he didn't see your face turn to a dark shade of red. Nor did it mean that you didn't see his blushing face as well
