When I was walking through the forest still trying to cool off when something red flashed in front of me. None of the Cullen's are here,so that means there's another leach.

"What is this? A lone wolf,and,oh my gosh, look at that fur. It would look nice as a rug." she sneered. I howled to get the others here.

She jumped down in front of me.

"Awwwww. Little puppy not strong enough to fight alone." She cackled.I pounced on her,and growled in her face ready to rip through her throat.

"God you mutt. Get off you smell!" Speak for your self.She yelled and kicked me off. The rest of the pack showed up. She had the face of fear. She started running so we chased after her.

We chased her up to the Canadian border where she is a different packs problem.

Back at her house.

"Are you ok?" Paul asked.

"Yes,I'm fine." I replied. We were laying down on my bed.

"When I saw here kick you off of her I thought I could hear my heart brake." He said turning to look at me.

"It's because you saw me get hurt. That was the imprint." I explained. He made and "o" shape with his mouth.

"Harry,Charlie,and some others are going hunting for us today."

"I know. All because of Bella." He nodded.

"We all have patrol. Just to make sure the leach doesn't hurt them." I nodded.

"GUYS LETS GO!" Sam's loud voices boomed. We all went out in the woods to phase. Sam said if we tie our clothes to our ankles they won't rip.

We were going around the woods. Jake and Sam are watching the group. Jake and Sam start yelling at everyone to help them.

He met up beside Jacob as he was close to the red head. Sam stayed and watched the others.

'The red head startled Harry. He's having a heart attack.' Sam said. When he said that I slowed down.

"Max? Max.' Paul said. I picked up my speed like there was no tomorrow. Harry was like a father to me. If he dies. I-I don't know what to do.

'Don't think like that Max. He'll be fine.' Jared said. Stupid mind reading. Everyone started laughing. We chased the leach back towards the ocean.

Jake said he saw Bella jump off the cliff. He went to the top of the cliff and didn't see Bella come up. He jumped in and pulled her to shore.

Sam and I went to Harry's. He died because of the heart attack. I'm heart broken over it. I shut people out. The most I'll do I nod my head.

Few days later.

I was sitting on the back porch waiting on Sam to get back. I fell asleep and missed my patrol. He's pushing us too much. I've worked half of the nights and still doing school.

Paul cam and sat out there with me. I put my head on his shoulder and started to drift off to sleep. We never made it official of us dating. We're just taking it...slow.

"Maxwell Lydia Uley. Where were you for your shift?" Sam asked anger filled his tone.

"I'm sorry Sam. You're pushing us to hard. I fell asleep and missed my alarm." I said.

"I'm not pushing you guys hard." He said.

"Sam you have me patrolling from 9pm to 7am. By then I have to go to school. You said I have to keep my grades up,but it's kinda hard when you're making me work nights!" I yelled.

"Don't raise your voice at me young lady!" He said yelling back.

"I'm 18! You're not the boss of me." I yelled back.

"I'm trying to make the best environment for you. I'm trying hard to make your life happy, but it's clear that's not happening." He scoffed.

"Sam! I'm sleep deprived because of you! I don't get any sleep!" I yelled.

"Clearly you did since you missed you patrol!" He scoffed once more.

"That's the most sleep I've gotten in the past week!" I yelled.

"Room. Now." He said. I scoffed and phased. I can't believe him. Best environment for me when I'm sleep deprived because of him. My grades probably went down because of him.

After an hour I calmed down and went back home. Emily had food for me. Paul went back to his house. I took my food upstairs and went to go study. I hate my life.
