From the beginning, everyone in Thunderclan knew Petal was different, she was special, and not in a good way.
Chapter 1----
"Dawnleaf!!! Sparrowsong is having her kits!" yowled Dustpelt, running into the medicine den.
"Okay! I'm on my way", Dawnleaf bolted into the nursery. A screech split the air and Dawnleaf ran through the brambles to where Sparrowsong lay,
"Congratulations Sparrowsong! You have a healthy she kit!" She said, not realizing that her kit, was a light pink color.
She grew and changed into an apprentice, to set her paws on the path of a medicine cat.
"Petalpaw!" Yowled Dawnleaf, "why did you give Mousefoot tansy?? She needed poppy seeds!"
"oh! I'm so sorry Dawnleaf!" Yelled Petalpaw, running into the clearing.
"You need to learn your herbs better darling" Dawnleaf murmured, shaking her head.
Petalpaw lay down in her nest that night wondering, why am I so different? Dawnleaf says that I have a pelt color that has never been seen before, and that's why she wanted me as her apprentice, she says I am a sign from starclan, I don't know how, but I hope she's right! I can't even imagine being so special that even starclan is part of me!
