To my darling daughter or son ,
You might not ever get to meet me, so I wrote this letter for you. The reason you won't meet me is because I have cancer , that is a very bad disease . I want you to know I didn't want to leave you , if I had it my way I would stay here a very long time , so that I could be your mother . There is a chance that my condition is genetic , which means I might pass it onto you or you child , I want to apologise for that . Your father will be a good one and if he doesn't , you have a loving uncle on your side . My mother died when I was very young so I know what it feels like to be without a mother . You will be strong , even if you don't think you are , and you will get through this . I might be wrong but I think you'll have my hair and your fathers eyes , that means you'll have brown hair and blue eyes, I think that is very pretty . Even if you don't have that combination , I can tell you'll be very beautiful . But I do have a few rules :
1. No boyfriends/ girlfriends until you're 13 (at least)
2. Have fun in life
3. Look after yourself
4. Care for others
5 if your father doesn't look after you , remind him about our letters and my requests
6. Make friends
7. Don't be scared
8. Trust people , but not to much
9. Don't miss me
10. Don't be sad that I'm not there
