(Y/N)'s POV

I woke up, I looked at my alarm clock. It read....Thursday? God damn it. I really want it to be the weekend, I get to coop up in my room, binge eat, and watch anime AALLL DAY!! Welp, I'm not going to get any getting-ready done if I just lay here. I did my usual routine then decided to put my hair up(any way you want, as long it's up) and wear jean shorts with a(n) (F/A) hoodie and converse. I grabbed my bag with a granola bar, and left.

I walked to the bus stop and to my surprise, Mark was there. "Oh, hey Mark, why are you here, doesn't your mom usually bring you to school in the mornings?" Unlike my parents, Mark's mom goes to work later and can bring Mark to school. "My mom had work early today." "Oh, ok." After that it was awkward silence.

Mark's POV

There was awkward silence for a while, then the bus came. We got on, then went off when we arrived at school. When we went inside of the school, there was big crowd of girls around someone, but I couldn't see the person that was being surrounded. The bell rang, and people started to leave the crowd, then I saw him. For a second I thought it was Sean for a second because of the color of his hair, but Sean is all the way in Ireland now. I finally got a clearer look at him, he looked like: Kendall from Big Time Rush (Lol IDK) He seems like a ladies man....Shit.

(Y/n)'s POV

The crowd cleared up, and I saw this tall, blonde headed guy. Girls must like him, a lot. Hm, he's not my type of guy though, the only type of guy I like is Mark. I'd rather get to my locker and not be late than look at the new kid. I said bye to Mark, since our lockers were, sadly, very far apart. I made it to my locker, but of course, someone had to keep me from being on time to class. I looked to my left, and saw the new guy leaning on the lockers left to mine.

"Hello there baby face, the name's Kendall, your's?" I thought of a way to get out of the situation, then it hit me. "Nice girl name, it really suits you." Then I walked off with a smile, leaving Kendall stunned, I guess he's never experienced rejection before.

I finally made it to class right before the bell. I walked into class and sat next to Mark, of course. "What took you so long?" He asked. "Well, you know that new kid?" "Yeah" "Well, he was flirting and all of that stuff, so yeah. *giggle* I bet he is still there stunned. Mark, you should've seen his face, it was priceless when I rejected him!" Then I burst out laughing thinking about his expression.

Mark's POV
How the hell am I supposed to win (Y/N) if this pretty boy gets in the way?! Welp, there goes my chances of being (Y/N)'s boyfriend, #foreveralone .

A/n: Sorry this chapter took so long! I was writing it a few weeks ago then I kinda forgot about it, since I had exams and all. But I'll update more often now that I have no more testing. Ok, bye!
