Feliciano hung his jacket on the coat rack and turned to face his parents, who were standing in the doorway of the kitchen.

"Where were you last night? It was a school night, you've missed half the day." His mother frowned and stepped forward to try and fix his messy hair.

"There was a, uh," Feliciano looked outside. "A thunderstorm. It was really bad and Ludwig hates driving in bad weather. I couldn't walk, I'm sorry, I should've called."

His father huffed from the corner and smiled knowingly at his son, shrugging and wandering into the kitchen. Feliciano cringed and pushed his mother's hands away from his hair as he walked up to his room.

"I'll just stay home the rest of the day and study for exams!" He suggested and closed his bedroom without waiting for a response.

Ludwig took a few long gulps of water as he sauntered into the change rooms, wiping away sweat from his forehead with a small towel. He chuckled as some of the guys made jokes and went over to his locker to get his uniform to start his shift. He pulled off his shirt and rummaged around his bag quietly. He saw his colleague, Tommy, sidle up to him with an amused grin.

"What?" Ludwig asked with a tiny smile.

"Those are some gnarly claws you must've dealt with." He clapped Ludwig's back, which was covered in distinct nail-marks.

The German gasped and quickly pulled his shirt back over his head, he'd forgotten about those.

"So," Tommy took a seat and pulled on his socks as he spoke. "Who's the lucky gal?"

Ludwig ran a hand through his hair and blushed slightly. "You don't know her, man. She's..." he looked out the window. "She's kinda from out of town, I guess."

"Ohh, our boy's ditchin' the locals!" He whistled lowly and shook his head with a grin. "Bring 'er over sometime, teach her how to shoot something. It'd make our job interesting for once. Nothin' like a city girl in a small town."

Ludwig chuckled nervously and headed to the showers.

Invite her over... psh.

Ludwig sat at his desk in his office and scrolled through an article about a domestic abuse case in a neighboring town. He'd been called earlier to study the case and provide insight and advice as he'd dealt mostly with these types of cases back home.

A knock on the door drew his attention away from the screen and he took off his glasses, rubbing his eyes as he told the person to come in. A fellow officer poked his head in the door.

"Hey, we got a kid out here. Parents found him with some pot, typical slap on the wrist punishment-"

"Can't you deal with it then?"

"They asked for you." He shrugged. "They specifically want you. The, uh, Vargas family, I think."

Ludwig's eyes snapped towards the door and he nodded. "Send him in."

Feliciano was soon sat in a chair in front of him with his father sat beside him and his mother pacing the room. Ludwig gave the younger man a discreet smile and sighed.

"There were... joints! Joints! In my son's room. I didn't raise him like this and I can't think of anyone to get through to him but you, Ludwig! He's going off to university soon, his graduation ceremony is next week and God knows he needs some guidance before he goes off in that wide world." She turned to stare at Ludwig. "Please help him."

The German touched her arm and reassured her with a smile. "I'll have a chat with him."

The parents got up and Mr. Vargas followed his wife out, head bowed slightly. He shrugged as Ludwig gave him a small laugh. The man trusted his son, enough to know he couldn't be doing too much harm.

Ludwig closed the door and closed the blinds. He turned the chair to face Feliciano who closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Feli, look-"

"It's just pot." He groaned and rolled his eyes, running a hand through his hair.

"I know, and I know it's the gateway drug but ask half these guys in here and they're not opposed to smoking half a joint when the day's over." Ludwig huffed. "Just toss it. Don't keep that shit at home. You've got this summer at home and then you're off. Into the big city to get out there and fill your brain with more big ideas."

Feliciano looked at him disinterestedly and grunted. Ludwig placed his hand on his knee and squeezed gently, thumb rubbing slow circles against the seam of his jeans.

"You need something to relax you, call me." He whispered, leaning forward and sliding his hand up slowly. "I have what you need."

Feliciano parted his lips and placed his hand overtop of Ludwig's, huffing out a breath. "And what is that?"

Ludwig swallowed hard as Feliciano rested his forehead against his, licking his lips quickly. He placed a hand on the Italian's neck and slid his fingers into his hair, tugging gently, evoking a small groan.

"You know the answer to that question." He growled lowly before fusing their lips together and kissing him slowly.

The German gripped Feliciano's thigh and grunted softly, pulling back and kissing down his neck in a cautious pattern.

"Pick me up later, Lud." He sighed, closing his eyes in pleasure. "Midnight. Let's go for a drive."

Ludwig nodded and gave him one last kiss, standing up and caressing his jaw. He straightened himself out before walking out to conference with Feliciano's parents.

He expressed superficial concern and provided basic tips and advice. He watched Mrs. Vargas give her undivided attention while Mr. Vargas paid some of his but gave the Ludwig the "Dad Look". Kids will be kids.

Ludwig sighed, half because he agreed with the old man, half because a sense of satisfaction washed over him.

Kids will be kids. Unfortunately for you, your kid ain't so young anymore and found himself a midnight rendezvous.

Later that night, Ludwig turned off his headlights and waited a few houses down for Feliciano. He watched as he came from the backyard and jogged over to the parked car, opening the door and smiling with a breathy laugh.

"You made it past the land mines I advised them to set up." Ludwig joked.

"Yeah, it wasn't easy." Feliciano laughed  and then moved in to kiss Ludwig.

The German hummed softly and pulled back with a smile, shifting into  drive and turning his lights back on as he made his way for the highway. He placed a hand on Feliciano's thigh and gripped gently. The Italian spread his legs slightly at the touch and involuntarily licked his lips.

"Look at you, kid." Ludwig drawled slightly, a predatory grin spreading across his lips. "So easy. So ready for me."

Feliciano huffed out a soft breath and placed his hand over the bulging tent in Ludwig's sweatpants, stroking slowly.

"Just drive, Ludwig. It's not like you're any better." He watched the streetlights blur as Ludwig bucked slightly into his hand. "And the next rest stop you find, pull over."

Ludwig sped up.
