It was a very happy day indeed.
With all the laughter and the smiles,
With their delighted eyes,
With their joy and amusement.
And at the end of the day,
I felt overwhelmed.
I finally told her what I felt.
It was because of someone who gave me courage to do so.
She readily accepted and said,
"It's okay, the past is past."
I have forgiven her and she has forgiven me.
We both left with smiles in our hearts.
For we both know that it's alright.
I would never make the same mistake again.
I have grown to like her even more than before.
And to those that I've hurt,
And to those who have grown to hate me...
Forgive me of my wrongdoings.
But tell me,
Did my actions bother you?
What have I done that made you look at me like a slave of your hatred?
And at long last ...
My heart can be peaceful once more.
My eyes wouldn't shed tears anymore.
