A Day With Hounds.

Third Person POV.

  "That was weird, felt like sparks" says zen with confusing written on his face while jamal had a smirk on his face and josh's face with surprise while aura's cheek reddening.

Zen shrugs off the feeling and sits in his seat. 

"So miss/alpha aura do what pleasure do i owe you to have you in our pack today?" ask zen while looking aura in her eyes. But little did the the people in the room know zen was having hard time controlling his eyes.

"Oh..yes my main reason was alliance and secondary was finding my mate"  says aura with a small smile on her face while-list zen hardly been able to control himself while listening to the beautiful voice.

"oh..alliance huh..but why would propose it? you hardly know anything us" says zen with an expressionless face. This surprised aura when zens mood changed. The only question in her head was did she offended him in any way.

"Yes i would also like know the reason as well...for your a.l.l.i.a.n.c.e." says jamal with a smirk on his face. Jamal knew aura was zens mate. It was clear as day of course his alpha is hopeless in way of romance and mate things.

"Well..We are having trouble. Our pack members are going missing every night. We had asked the council for help but non so far. We would like your help, Since this pack only has the guts to face the strongest" replies aura.

As soon as aura gives her reply children storm into the office.

"ALPHA ITS LUNCH TIME!!" the children and keep running towards zen, A few of jumping in his lap.

"Yea..we can have the meeting later. I am hungry either way." says zen which angered aura and josh. Aura never felt this angry before she just told her mate that her pack members where going missing and he was going for a lunch.

Aura let's out a slight growl and in an instant the childrens shift and growl at aura bearing their canines at aura. It was safe to say aura and josh were surprised.

"Down kiddos, She meat no harm" says zen politely to kids.

But kids where angry at aura just because she had disrespected their alpha and most importantly their friend.

"Jamal get the kids out please, I will be in a sec with you." orders zen to jamal. Jamal begins clearing kids out of the room and zen sighs.

"T-this for the first time i have seen someone growl at you aura" Says josh.

"What was that? Many alphas had pissed their pants when i growled but these kids stood up" asked aura to Zen.

"Well we are family." Replies Zen.

"Then why leave and important meeting and go for lunch. I have told my pack members are going missing" says aura with anger laced in her tone.

Zen rubs his head and sighs.

"It's not like i can save straight away. Even though i have powerful pack members things take time. You need to be patient, Collective and Lazy. Plus going into battle empty stomach not a very good idea my love" Says zen and his eyes widen in surprise. Thinking did he just say that.

Where as aura also had the same expression and her heart was beating a hundred miles and hour.

"o-okay" replies aura while looking away from zen. She had to look away. It's already hard enough for her to control herself. Her mates scent keeps hitting and top of that his manly voice where sending shivers in her whole body.

Zen cough and nods. As signel to eat lunch. Aura and josh follow zen. They were surprised that they were going out of the pack house.

"Aren't we having lunch?" asks josh.

"of course we are." replies zen.

"then why are we going out?" ask josh again.

"Just follow" replies zen.

They came out of the pack house from the back door. As soon as aura and josh came out their jaws hit the floor. A football size ground area was in front of them. In which tables and chair where set up. Some were sitting on the floor. But that was not all. It was the amount of pack members. They knew fairies,witches and many other beings existed but never had seen them. This was a sight to die for.

"Beautiful" says aura looking around in awe.

"Damn right." says zen. "as you are" lowly mumbles zen.

Of course being a were aura heard that and turned crimson red head to toe.

"ALPHA!!!" shouted the whole pack.

"ugh..keep it down." Zens Takes a deep breath. The whole pack awaiting for their alpha to speak and curious about the people behind him.

"Today is such a good day so keep clam and low. So i can have a peaceful nap" Grins Zen while saying this and his pack let's out a couple of boo's and chuckles.

"And the people behind me are our hm...new friends so treat them right" as zen was saying this kevin came beside zen. He always does this when someone new is near zen.

"So have a good day and fill your stomach" as zen finished saying this a girl with pie was passing them zen takes the pie and smashes it in his face.

"And you scare me always like that you idiot!" shouts zen at kevin while laughing. They whole pack let's out a laughter. 

Kevin gets angry and keeps his hand on zens shoulder.

"Z.E.N" says kevin with irritated voice.

"S-sorry?" tenses up zen. As soon as zen finishes saying the word kevin picks him and throws him in the air.

"GET LOST!!!" kevin yell and zen let's out a scream.

The whole pack rolls down in laughter the kids,Elder,teen and even aura was laughing hard at this. For first time she felt peace full and happy.

Aura though her mate was the best the goddess could ever give her. Plus the pack he made is beautiful. Smile,Laughter and what not is found here.
