- Victoria's P.O.V Bulgaria June 5 1491 -

Dear Journal,

After Katerina had a child they sent her away to England. I've been alone without my fraternal twin sister for 7 months now, and I can't stand it anymore, I miss her too much. Today is our 18th birthday, this means that I'm finally a fully grown woman who can make her own decisions. The first decision I've made myself is that I'm travelling to England, searching for Katerina. I've been saving money since my sister left, so I could visit her when the time was ready. I'm leaving in a few weeks and I will write again when I arrive in England.

- England July 28 1491 -

I arrived in England a few days ago, I still haven't found my sister, but today I'm going to town, searching for my sister.

''Thank you, I will be back later tonight.'' I said to the housekeeper. I'm currently staying in a shelter, but I plan on leaving as soon as I found my sister. I walked out of the house and waited for the carriage. Theodore, the housekeeper, insisted on me using the carriage, he wouldn't let me walk. It seems that the distance is too long to walk. When I finally arrived at the heart of town the driver helped me out of the carriage. ''Here you go Miss Victoria.'' He said to me. I smiled at him and gave him a small nod. He closed the door again and got back on the carriage and drove away.

''Katerina, what are you doing here?'' a voice said. I searched for the person who the voice belonged to and I saw a handsome man, probably in his late 20's, I guessed. ''I'm not Katerina, sir. Have you seen her? I'm her sister and I've been searching for her since Monday.'' I asked him. The corner of his lip twitched as if he would love to laugh in my face. ''Katerina told me she left a sister behind, but I didn't expect you two to look that much alike, but now I look better I indeed see a difference.'' He said. I stayed still for a moment, not sure what too stay. ''I'm Lord Elijah, but for you, only Elijah, miss.'' He said while he took my hand in his and gave it a small kiss, I smiled at this gesture, it isn't exactly something we do in Bulgaria. ''Hello Elijah, I'm Victoria Petrova.'' I said. ''It's a pleasure to meet you Victoria.'' ''Likewise Elijah.'' He still hasn't let go of my hand and I giggled. ''Something wrong Victoria?'' he asked. I eyed to my hand that was still in his and he chuckled. ''I'm sorry.'' He said. ''Please don't apologize, it's nothing.'' I said. ''Could you bring me to Katerina? It seems like you quite know her.'' I asked. He nodded and took my hand back in his. He led me to a carriage and opened the door for me. I smiled at him and got inside and took a seat next to the window. He let go of my hand and took a seat opposite mine.

''Why didn't you come to England with your sister in the first place Victoria?'' he asked. ''I wasn't old enough to leave, my parents wouldn't let me.'' I replied. ''You're twins?... Than why did Katerina leave?'' he asked. I could hear the confusion in his voice, but it's not my story to tell that my sister had a baby out of wedlock. ''That's not my story to tell, sorry.'' I said. He furrowed his brows and locked his brown eyes with my emerald green ones, that's the only difference between my and Katerina, her eyes are brown and mine green. ''Why did Katerina come to England?'' he asked again. This time I felt that I needed to answer his question, as much as I didn't want to. ''She had a child out of wedlock when she was 17 and then she got kicked out.'' I stated bluntly. I slapped my hand on my mouth and gasp. ''I shouldn't have told you that, Katerina will kill me if she finds out I did.'' I said. ''Don't worry Victoria, she won't find out.'' He said. I nodded my head. When Elijah told me she won't find out something inside of me told me he was right, I was sure of it. The carriage suddenly stopped and I flew forward off my seat, I was preparing myself for the fall, but Elijah caught me in time. ''Are you alright?'' he asked. I nodded my hand and gave him a small smile. ''Thank you.'' I muttered. He chuckled. ''Pleasure. We're here.'' He said. He got out of the carriage as first and held out his hand for me to take, I gave him my hand and he pulled me out of the carriage.
