"Your ears are infected pretty badly," Kris said as he puts away the medical things that were used to heal her ears. 

"No shit sherlock," Levi mumbled lowly. 

She touched her ear and winced. Her feet dangles in the air as she sits on one of the examination table.

"Have you heard?" Kris asked without turning to face Levi.

"Heard of what?" She asked, focusing on her short bitten nails.

"The dinner,"

"What dinner?"

"The dinner for interns and a few doctors?"

"Nope. Is Kai having one?"

"Kai?"

"Yeah, the head of the hospital?"

"Well that's the first time I heard someone call him so informally," Kris chuckled, turning to face Levi.

He walked to her and helped her get down from the metal table.

"He's my-"

Friend, Levi. He's your childhood friend.

"Friend, we were pretty close," Levi shrugged as she ties her hair up in a bun.

Kris walked outside, Levi following close behind.

"Well, Kai planned a dinner to welcome the interns and some of the doctors are invited, which means you and I are on the list of names," He explained calmly as they both walk down the hallway.

"That's awesome! When is it?" Levi asked excitedly.

"In about a week or so, but this is coming from the staffs downstairs, so I don't know exactly,"

"Hm, I guess we should wait for the supposedly invitation?"

"Yeah," Kris smiled.

"Thanks for driving me home, I appreciate it," Levi thanked Kris as she gets out of the car.

"Anytime, call me when you need a ride alright?" He said, peeking over the window.

Levi smiled and nodded before walking to the dorm. What she didn't expect was for the dorm to be clean, silent, and dark. She carefully tip toed to her room without making any sounds and lay on the bed, already thinking about the dinner. She already has a look planned out, her choice of perfume, the amount of bobby pins to put in her hair.

She couldn't wait.
