I started to stuff all my belongings in my hot pink luggage, happy to get out of the grueling military school dad signed me up for. Silly me! I haven't introduced me yet. My name is Chantal Clarrington. I'm a transfer. Dalton finally accepted girls. I'm 154, 12 years old and I have blonde hair and green eyes. I'm sharing a room with a girl called Catnis Smythe. My brother Hunter, told me that I would like Dalton. I for one, hope I do like Dalton, because I'd have to go back to military school and that would mean over consumption of milk and 300 push ups a day. Talk about torture. I also hope my roommate is nice. We could be friends.

When I finally arrived to Dalton in a car, i realised everyone had a free period from 8:00 to 10:00, so I decided to find my room and meet my roommate. Hope it goes well!

I was stroking Muffin's head when the door opened and a girl with blonde hair and green eyes stepped in the room. She wore the same uniform as me and once she saw me, she smiled and offered her hand. "Hi roomy!! Chantal Clarrington. Call me chan (pronounced as Shan.) Transfer from a horrible disgusting military school. Wanna be friends?" She said. I got the impression she was funny, nice and sarcastic. "Catnis Smythe. Call me Catty or catnip. These names are curtisy from my brother. Btw, do you sing?" Chantal deemed baffled by that question. "Like my brother, I bought victory to my school glee club." She said with fake offense in her voice. "You wanna sing?" I asked picking up my guitar. "I'll do alto. You sing high?" She smiled when I nodded. I plucked at the guitar forming a melody.

Chantal
I've never seen a diamond in the flesh
I cut my teeth on wedding rings in the movies
And I'm not proud of my address, in the torn up town
No post code envy

Catnis
But every song's like gold teeth, Grey Goose, trippin' in the bathroom
Bloodstains, ball gowns, trashin' the hotel room
We don't care, we're driving Cadillacs in our dreams
But everybody's like Cristal, Maybach, diamonds on your timepiece
Jet planes, islands, tigers on a gold leash
We don't care, we aren't caught up in your love affair

Both
And we'll never be royals
It don't run in our blood
That kind of lux just ain't for us
We crave a different kind of buzz
Let me be your ruler, you can call me Queen B
And baby I'll rule (I'll rule I'll rule I'll rule)
Let me live that fantasy

Catnis
My friends and I we've cracked the code
We count our dollars on the train to the party
And everyone who knows us knows that we're fine with this
We didn't come from money

We're bigger than we ever dreamed, and I'm in love with being queen
(Ooh ooh oh)
Life is great without a care
We aren't caught up in your love affair

By the time we were done, Chantal smiled and said "You know I videoed that right?" We both laughed or side off. Having a roommate wasn't that bad after all.
