We pull up to the school and i get out and hurry up to the senior hallway and pick the locker right next to the pool so i can watch the guys come from practice. Lilly finally catches up and she pick the locker right beside me. I glance in the gym right across from the pool and i see the football team practicing but i don't see..."Hey beautiful" someone say behind me. I turn around to see my boyfriend, Sam. "Hey. How was your summer?" I say. "It was good. i really cant get in trouble this year or i get kicked off the team for good. so i gotta get to class." He says. I look over at Lilly make out with a guy she probably met five minutes ago. Sam kisses me and hurries class. I hear the bell ring, meaning i got 5 minutes to get to class. " See ya Later Lilly.." She didn't hear me. To busy make out with a guy she doesn't even know. I rush to class now that i have 4 minutes to get to the other side of the building. I go turn the corner and i run into this guy who is at least 6'3 and is wearing a white v neck and worn out jeans. Even know its not the best outfit it defiantly compliments his gorgeous tan skin and beautiful brown eyes and SNAP OUT OF IT JORDYN! YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND! "I'm so sorry. let me help you pick up you books." He says with his masculine voice. "Thanks.." "The name is Drew." He says as he hands me my books. "Thanks Drew. I'm Jordyn" I say a little shy. "What class you headed to?" He asks. " Food economics" "Lucky for you we got the same class." Are you kidding me? I can't be distracted! I need this class to graduate. I failed it 9th grade cause My boyfriend, Sam, was distracting but he passed barely and i didn't. So i really need to stay focus this year. The long bell rings meaning i have 45 second to get to class. so me and Jordyn start rushing almost jogging down the hallway. We get to the hallway with where the classroom is and i can Mr. Williams staring at me The late bell ring as soon as me and Drew get to the door and Mr. Williams slams the door in are face! "Really? Stupid Mother Fucker!" Drew yells at Mr.Williams while bangs on the door. Mr. Williams puts a sign in the window of the door that says 'GO TO HALL SWEEP!' Really? I can't go to hall sweep! I've never had hall sweep since i got to this school. "I guess we gotta go to hall sweep." Drew says who says worried. We start walking to hall sweep and he starts smiling and shaking his head. "What are you thinking about?" I ask. " Nothing. Just thinking how this is my 14th hall sweep and if i get another one i get detention." He says as he starts fake laughing. We go into hall sweep there are about 6 other people in here including Lilly and 4 out of 6 are Drew's Friends. He daps each one of them up and takes a seat right next to me. "Welcome to Hall sweep Jordyn!" Lilly says while laughing "You know her?" a random guy says. one of the ones Lilly has made out with. Lilly nods and then she starts to talk to him. Wow I thought we were friends " Why is she your Friend?" Drew says. " She is my best friend and i love her!" I say "But She treats you like shit and you let her and Her and -" " Nobody's Perfect!" I raise my voice at him " Then can you tell me this. Why did we just meet to today? We seen each other in school since 9th grade. Why now?" He asked "I have no idea. Maybe because we are from 2 different worlds. I'm peanut butter, your jelly. I'm silk, your cotton. We are complete Opposites!" I say. "Opposites attract. Am I right?" He says as i stay quiet. "Drew and Jordyn in my office." Our Principal, Mr. West, says with a disappointed voice. We walk in and take a seat. "I'm very disappointed in both of you. Hall sweeps on the first day of school. Jordyn your first in 4 years." Drew looks over and is shocked as Mr. West continues " And Drew This is your 14th hall sweep since last time you got detention. one more and you get detention. Here are your passes. I don't expect to either of you guys in my office anymore. Right Ms.Kale? Mr. Lacy?" "Yes Mr. West. It's a new year!" Drew says with a smile. We walk to class and Drew is smiling at me "Your such a goodie two shoes. Never ever gotten a hall sweep." "Well I just don't get in to trouble like you. Once again 2 different worlds."
" Opposites attract!" He yells. " why won't you let that go?" I yell back. "BECAUSE I LIKE YOU!" He yells Louder. Are you kidding me? Drew the guy i've been crushing on since 9th grade likes me. Wow i wish i knew sooner i could have been with him instead of Sam. Who am i kidding, it would never work. Plus i have a fantastic boyfriend who loves me. wait does he?
