Ok I figured this out a long time ago, but most of y'all think Dean is a muggleborn because his mum was a muggle and his father walked out on them.
Well it turns out Deans father was a Wizard. And he was in SLYTHERIN . (most likely) and was a death eater for our dark lord.
After Voldemort 'died' Deans father left Mrs.Thomas because he was afraid that The Dark Lord will return and kill his family, so he left to protect them .
He never told his wife he was a wizard, so she never knee, that's why Dean never knew His father, or knew of his blood actually being Half-Blood.
