chapter 5

it had been just over a week since I had been in califonia I had been having such a great time.  Me and zac had become quite close I was starting to feel like I had feelings for him but pushed them aside as not sure I could trust another man.

I had been out shopping with kerry she showed me around town which was really nice. today was a friday Zac was at work he was a labourer and kerry and mike were working to.

I was sat up in my room on my bed when my mobile rang I didnt recognise the number but picked it up anyway.

"hello"

"laura its me Jason"

"I told you just leave me alone I dont want anything to do with you"

"I made a mistake"

"you have made more then one mistake jason I should of left you ages ago"

zac pov

I walked in from work there was no sign of laura but then I heard voices up stairs, I chucked my bag down and walked up lauras bedroom door was slightly open j could hear her crying so I peeked in

"so you think I deserved to be beaten by you? I never told anyone about that coz I truly believed you loved me...I was there for you for sex and then a punch bag..

I had heard enough I walked in her room which made her jump I just sat next to her on the bed with my arm around her.

"leave me alone" she sobbed down the phone she then threw it on the floor.

"I am sorry you had to hear that..."

"hey dont be sorry I am always here if you want to talk come here"

I wrapped both my arms around her tightly.

laura pov

I jumped at the sound of Zac coming in, I wonder if he had heard what I said he put his arm around me as I told jason to leave me alone throwing my phone to the floor.

"I'm sorry you had to hear that" I sobbed

"hey dont be sorry I am always here if you want to talk"

he wrapped his arms around me pulling me tightly to his chest I felt so safe was zac to good to be true. I got up and grabbed a tissue to wipe my face .

"hey how about I take you out tonight just me and you go for a few drinks" asked Zac

I smiled

"yeh ok that sounds really good I could do with going out"

"I need to go take a shower I am a bit dirty"

"I like a dirty man" I joked oh my god I can't believe I just said that to him

he gave me a wink

"I am as dirty as they come" he grinned as he walked out. I sat back down on the bed laughing to myself. I looked at the time it was 5pm I decided I was going to have a nice soak in the bath shave my legs really pamper my self.

I had an ensuite which was handy. I ran a hot bath and climbed in laying back this was lovely. my phone buzzed I dried my hands and picked the phone up. it was a message from zac

I have booked a taxi for 7 :) really looking forward to tonight xx

I replied

cool, yeh me to I am currently soaking my self in the bath making myself look beautiful for you xx

you all ready are beautiful xx

I smiled to myself he was such a charmer always said the right things.  I had a good soak in the bath before getting out to start getting ready for tonight.
