We ran and ran through the trees Evie was in front of me she grabbed my hand and we ducked up under a log . We head thundering of paws and feet

" find them now !" A thundering voice said I am a summing it as the king of the mutts ( werewolf king )

20 minutes later we where still In The log . " we need to find a river to hide are scents " I whisper in her ear she nods we get out but my dress rips " crap " I grab the niece of fabric and take it with me they can track are scents threw anything .

I look back the way we came , voices that's what I hear and feet . I grab Evie's arm and run forward anywhere I don't need to get caught again . I hear running water , I push limbs out of the way We get to a little clearing I see a little pond it's not big but enough where we can go under water " over here Dylan !" I push Evie in and I jump in along with her , I just hope she can swim

" yeah me too " Josh said right now we where walking threw the forest I was in my human for of corse .

* crunch*

I nudge josh I see my bueatifull mate with her friend , I notice they are both humans they probably ran away in fear , but why would hey run I would never hurt them? Don't they know it's illegal to run form royalty ?

They start to run they must have noticed us . I shift into my midnight blue wolf with my gold eyes I am bigger than an alpha since I am soon to be alpha king the ball was to find my mate I I have found her once we are married I will get the alpha king title .

My mate ran dragging the other girl with I think brown hair in this light my mate had blonde hair . She was bueatifull.

" over here Dylan ! " Josh yells he was standing in a clearing . More pacifically it was the clearing where I came to think . I go being a tree and shift back to my human form and throw on down basket ball shorts , when I come out I see josh sniffing around , Josh is a great tracker , he is also a vampire so it makes is sense of smell even better

" did you pick up their scent ?" I ask

He nodded his head " I can't smell their scent anymore and we are at a pond Dylan work it out , it like one of the biggest trick in the book !" He laughs

We walk to a little pond I put my feet in , they wil come out soon enough . I have been waking around barefoot and I have no idea what I stepped in Earlier ..

He stuck his foot In The water , man they are some smart cookies , I thought they where dumb as bricks .

I look at Evie she looks like she is going to pass out , what do I do !

Well this is what I did . I grab his foot an jerk him I I the freezing water , I come to the surface and gasp for air

He surfaces soon after I look him in they eye he has he prettiest eyes they are this deep gold color I break the eye contact I grab Evie and sit on the edge of the pond

" why did you run " the blood sucker said , I could tell that he was Evie's mate ...... But the problem was that she is deathly afraid of all supernatural creatures ( vampire's ad werewolf's ) I look towards Evie . She gave me that I-don't-want-to-talk-I-may-puke look so I guess I had to talk .

" I don't know wanted to go for a walk " I said nonchalantly

This time my mate spoke up I looked at his facial features high jaw bone gold eye I could get lost in an black hair " you do know that running from your mate is illegal ? and running from royalty ? "

" oh I know " they looked surprised

" then why did you run ?"

" maybe I don't want a mate ?" This time he got really angry . Like he was shaking angry he was going to take a step forward but his freind stopped him and whispered something in his ear he nodded

" come we must bring to to the place tomorrow we will introduce pi to the werewolf and vampire race that out are our mates " he said he held no emotion to his face I was Almost hurt but I then remembered what his kind did to my family . I will never forget .
