Chapter 5
"Where's your car?" He asked me.
I walked up to my bike and patted the seat.
"You ride that?" He asked shocked.
"Yep. This is my baby. I don't know what I would do without it. She's a beauty huh." I grinned.
"Hmm... Well. Then I guess you lead the way to your house and I'll follow." Wait...
"Oh! Umm... Could you gave me a sec? I should call my aunt and tell her someone's coming over... She won't care if I skip school." I rushed out.
"Ok...? I'll just go to my car. I'll follow you when you leave ok?" He asked an I nodded.
I pulled out my phone and dialed the number I had put in my phone for situations like this.
"Hello?" A women's voice sounded threw the phone.
"Get to the big house." I said and hung up.
The lady only lived 2 houses over so she could get there in emergencies.
I got and my bike and put my helmet on. I raced out of the parking lot and his car followed behind.
Wait a sec... I don't even know his name...
*************************************I pulled into the drive way and he pulled up behind me. I got off my bike and he was by my side in a second.
"Before I let you in my house, what's your name looser." I said with a smirk.
"Chance." He smirked back. "And you are..." He dragged out waiting for my answer.
"R- I mean Abigail." I corrected quickly. Damn I need to learn my new name fast.
He gave me and weird look and was about to say something but I just grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the house.
I walked in the door and called "Aunt Sally I'm home!"
"In the kitchen dear!" She called back. I had never seen the lady before. Guess now would be the time.
I led him into the kitchen that was just as modern as the rest of the house.
"Aunt Sally this is Chance. We're gonna hang out in my room ok?" I said.
"Of course! Around noon I'll make you two some lunch! But I'm leaving to go baby sit over night for a friend at one so you two will have the house to yourselves kay?" She smiled sweetly.
"Thanks Aunt Sally." I said and dragged Chance up the stairs to my room. As we walked up the stairs chance whistled.
"Damn. Your aunt sure does have a nice house. Woah! That's a lot of game systems!" He said in amazement.
"Umm Aunt Sally baby sits lots of kids here sometimes so she has this for them." I said. "Come on. My room is over here."
I opened my door and walked into my room slipping my shoes off.
"Like red and black much?" Chance asked walking in and doing the same as me.
"Yep. So now, tell me to what I owe skipping my first day of school. And why do you keep calling me 'mate'." I asked.
"You might want to sit down." He said seriously.
I sat down on the bed criss-cross leaning against the head board.
He came and sat across from me in criss-cross as well.
"I'm a werewolf." He said to me seriously.
I just starred at him. A werewolf? I've killed more people in my 17 years of life than I can count, I've seen things that would make grown men fall to their knees and cry, I've taken on small army's by my self. I thought I had seen and heard it all. Until now.
