Was the sound of the train of Hogwarts Express before it landed on a pitstop right in front of me. I sighed as I looked down and saw my owl, Tikki, who looked around frantically "it's another year for Hogwarts again, Tikki.." I told her as I touched the cold metal of her cage "and another unlucky year once again.." I sadly trailed off once I picked her up and my luggage with me up to the train.

Once I got inside, I chose the seat preferably near the window, I placed my luggage underneath the table in front of me since I only packed a few things with me, and of course Tikki, whom I placed at the table's surface "hoot!" She said as she gave her wings a little flutter, I gave her a small smile as I sneaked my index finger in between the metal of her cage and gently petted her smooth and soft feathers. I sighed hopelessly once again "do you ever think I could possibly find my Patronus one day?" I asked her, my voice almost a soft whisper, but she only answered with a "hoot" to which I only chuckled about "I guess, maybe not.." I frowned at that thought and rested my chin on the palm of my hand, silence took over me until—

"Hi girl!"

My friend Alya came in with a lot of luggage, as expected "hi Alya" I greeted as a response once she had placed her luggages at the top and took the seat across from me "haha! Ready for another year at Hogwarts?" Was the first thing she asked me with one of her cheerful grins, I only gave a forced chuckle and nervously scratched the back of my neck "I-I guess.." I answered in a stutter, pretty obvious that I'm really not excited, Alya noticed this and sighed with an apologetic face "come on, cheer up! I know that you'll do better this year!" She exclaimed, ruffling my raven colored haired to which I laughed about "thanks for that" I replied as I noticed how messy my hair was from Alya's ruffling so I let my hair down and fixed it a bit, deciding not to tie it up again 'cause I was tired to do so.

"Hey girls! Don't mind if I join?"

That voice only made my heart beat a million times faster and my cheeks growing into a shade of flustered red, I can sense Alya's slyness because she said "oh not at all Adrien! Besides, you're welcome to sit by us anytime! Am I right Marinette?~" she wiggled her eyebrows as a smirked curled up from her lips, I bit my bottom lip, trying so hard not to squirm around too much "o-of c-c-course! Hehe.." was the only thing that left out of my mouth before I turned away and stared at the blurry scene at the window.

I heard Alya snicker, making me glare playfully at her "oh, by the way Marinette.." I heard Adrien said, trailing off, making me look back at him but landed onto his perfect emerald green eyes "you look really pretty and cute, you should let your hair down more often" he said as he gave me a bright smile that only melted my heart away—wait a minute, did he just said that I was..pretty and cute?! H-he complimented me?! "Hm~ you are so right Adrien!" I saw Alya wink at me making me pout "t-thanks.." I responded to him with a sheepish smile and he returned it back with a smile too.

We then started to make a little conversation of other little things in Hogwarts and I was feeling more comfortable with Adrien beside me, and it was not long once Nino joined us too "what's up dude and dudettes?" He asked, placing his luggages on the top and took the seat next to Alya as we greeted him back "so? You gonna try another of your luck this year Marinette?" Nino asked me to which I answered with a pursed lips and a sad expression.

Alya harshly nudged Nino's side making him yelp in pain "you little—don't you know how to be quiet for once?!" She irritatingly said to him with an angered face, Nino widened his eyes in horror at the sight of Alya's glaring eyes, he chuckled nervously and shook his head "u-uh..sorry Marinette, I didn't mean to make you upset.." he apologized that I accepted immediately "it's alright Nino but..I don't think I'll ever have luck on my side, especially when I haven't found my Patronus yet" I sadly answered looking down at both of my hands placed on top of my lap, then I saw a hand was placed on my left and another on my shoulder.
