Chapter 1

A/N: This fanfic was inspired by 'More Than What We Thought' by Newyork102938, the 'Chase and Skye Love Fanfic' series by SkyeandChaseForever and 'The Pup Pup Boogie' by mistyscreativeworks.

It was a nice day in Adventure Bay. The sun was shining and it was 25 Degrees Celsius. The Paw Patrol pups: Marshall, Chase, and Zuma had gone to the beach while Ryder was inspecting their vehicles at the Lookout. Rocky, Rubble, and Skye were playing frisbee by the Lookout and Chase, Marshall, and Zuma were playing hide n' seek. Chase didn't seem to remember that he was playing hide n' seek because he had put his head out of a hole, his hiding place. Chase was staring in an unusual way at Skye.

"Skye is so pretty!" Chase whispered to himself.

"Found you, dude!" said Zuma, then realizing something was wrong, Marshall also caught up to them since he had already been found, he also found Chase acting in an awkward way.

"Huh, wha...?, Oh yeah..." Chase said for a moment.

"Are you ok, Chase?"

"I'm fine" said Chase, uncomfortable, but not looking away from Skye up on the hill where the Lookout stood strong.

Just at that moment, Zuma and Marshall noticed that Chase was looking towards the others. "The others are there, do you want them to play too, dude?" Zuma asked.

"Uh... No" said Chase. "But then why are you looki..." Zuma said as he realized what was happening.

"We see now" Marshall and Zuma said together starting to giggle.

"See what?" Chase said.

"You're in love with Skye, aren't you Chase" Zuma said.

This gave Chase a shock. "Wha... No I'm not! It's not like I think she's pretty, cool, sweet, cute and brave or anything".

Zuma and Marshall started laughing just after he finished that sentence.

"HAHA!!! You're totally crushing on Skye" Zuma said.

"Hey! Hold on..." Chase said while he was blushing.

"YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH SKYE!!! YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH SKYE!!!" Marshall and Zuma said while they were laughing.

Chase quickly put his paws to their mouths. "Keep it down!", he whispered, hoping that Skye didn't hear it, which she luckily for Chase, didn't.

"Okay fine, I do have a crush on her, but promise to not tell anyone, especially not her!" Chase whispered. They promised.

Zuma said: "Is that why you always worry for her?"

Chase couldn't help but to nod. "Yeah it's just that she's so cute!" Chase said.

"You should tell her" Marshall said.

"I know, but what if she doesn't feel the same way?" Chase said.

"You won't know until you try, dude" Zuma said.

"Fine, I'll try" Chase said, as they were walking up to the Lookout to get something for Skye while his friends gave him a happy faces to wish him luck.
