This will ruin his social life, without even knowing it. He has no chance of being liked if he sits next to me.
He sits down, next to me. He smiles at me. It was kind of cute. I like cute smiles.
I could tell everyone in the class was judging him already. Mr S continues teaching.
"No, don't talk to me" i think to myself as i see his body turn to face me. He opens his mouth.
"So, what are we learning about" he whispers. He had quite a deep voice that had this cute, childish tone to it. The whole class heard his whisper. They all gasp and turn around in their seats and just stare at him. I hear a few people start to whisper about him. "No Allison. Don't talk to him. Ignore him." The thought of ignoring him passes by in my mind. But my body has a mind of its own and lifts the cover of the book we are reading up and I point to the title of the book. "Romeo and Juliet" I whisper back to him. "I love that play! There's so much emotion behind it and I love William Shakespeare's interpretation of the old time love story." My mouth dropped. Not many people knew that Shakespeare had based Romeo and Juliet around another love story. How could such an attractive boy, be so clever. I tried to say something back to him but my mouth just wouldn't work. I noticed he had beautiful brown eyes.
"I'm Cameron, what's your name?" He says breaking the awkward silence. I still can't answer him. "Umm, this is where you tell me your name" he says as that cute smile appears on his face again. "I'm not normal" I mutter not looking at him. "That's okay. Me neither. So are you going to tell me your name?" He really seems interested in me. Usually by now someone would have stopped talking to me. My awkwardness normally pushes people away.
"I'm, i'm Allison"
"Well hello Allison, it's lovely to meet you again. Properly this time"
I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "Again?!" I look up at him, studying his face. Trying to see if i knew where i had met him before. This time i see he is so beautiful.
He has long brown hair that is on a quiff on his head. It is all perfectly in place, each piece precise and perfect. He has big brown eyes that have a dazzle to them. He has a perfect smile which lights up the whole classroom. He has rosy cheeks that seem to be getting redder. He looks like a model. I never normally take a close look at a guy or even think about boys. I haven't even spoke to a boy properly before. Cameron seems so nice and so perfect. It's hard to believe that someone as perfect as him isn't a stuck up obnoxious jock. But he's not, he is different.
"i helped you off the ground, near the lockers? In the corridor earlier?" He says smiling at me. I start to blush. "Oh... Well, uh, thanks again" I still feel like the whole class is watching us. I turn back to my book and finish of a sentence. A short while later the bell rings and I immediately make my way to the next class. Cameron follows me and tried to talk to me. It's almost like he is talking to himself though as i'm not replying. I don't know how to handle someone being nice to me. I'm so used to people pretending to like me and people bullying me. I know that the sick and twisted people in this school will somehow turn cameron into one of them.
"So what lesson do you have next" he asks me.
"Woodwork"
"That's cool! Me too. What room?"
"55" I say as i trudge through the corridors.
"Really, me too!"
I smile, but he doesn't see it. I suppose i might as well enjoy his company whilst i have it. I mean, i know it won't last long. He will be like the others by the end of this week. But he does kind of make me feel special.
It suddenly hit me! Mum could of been right! Maybe today was the day i made a friend.
