Chapter 4

Ray

I ran into the hospital doors to the front desk,with tears pouring violently down my face.

As I was about to ask the lady for Jacob Perez, I heard a familiar cry, I walked to the waiting area and saw Rainy.

I ran over to her and engulfed her into an comforting hug. She grabbed me and pulled me closer, and she cried on my shoulder.

"Rainy" I began.

"Wheres Jacob?" She pushed herself up off my shoulder, and I brung my hand up and gently wiped her tears.

"I don't know, they just said I wasn't aloud to go in the room Ray, and he was losing alot of blood I don't think he's gonna make it out of this." She said. I cried at the last part of what she said.

We sat their for about 45 minutes just talking to each other, we were both having a good time just laughing and talking. I missed when me and Rainy, use to have moments like these,and it just brought a smiled to my face.

"Family of Perez"

Me and Rainy stood up.

The doctor walked over to us with a clipboard.

"Well, how is he Doc?' Rainy asked.

"Hes fine, he survived, I promise. He just has a fractured broken arm and the bumper of the car hit his head really hard so he has bandages around that, other than that he is fine, you guys are really lucky he survived because there was a possibility he could have died, but a miracle happened." He said smiling at us.

Me and Rainy squeezed each other so hard embraced in one anothers arms, at the good news we just heard.

"So can we go see him." I asked.

"No, sir you can not he is resting right now but you can surely come in the morning tomorrow."

A frowned appeared on my face, but it quickly came up to smile reminiscing that I can come to tomorrow and see him.

"Thank you for your time Dr.' Rainy said.

We both left hospital happy to know Jacob lived.

We both walked home since we didn't drive and I was carrying Rainy on my back. We were having a nice talk just like the one from the hospital.

"So brother"

"So sister'

We both laughed at our sillyness and when it calmed down we walked in silence.

"Rainy."

"Yes"

"I wanna apologize for calling you a slut, I didn't mean it. I was just upset about what you and Roc did, well Im not really upset you guys had sex but Im upset where it tooked place.' I said

"You shouldn't be apologizing Ray. I should. I'm sorry about.............................................Everything." She said.

"Its okay, I love Rainy." I said.

"I love you too." She said planting a kiss on the side of my face.

"One question though?" She said.

"Go ahead."

"Do you have uhmm...I don't know...feelings for Roc." I immediately stopped walking.

And Rainy jumped off my back and stood right infront of me.

"Well" She said.

"Rainy.....I did once have feelings for him and maybe I still do but Jacob is sort of making those feelings fade of way, so Im pretty sure you'll have him all to yourself because I plan on being with Jacob."

"Oh, well thats good. I hope Jacob treats your right and vise versa." She said, smiling trying to cover up the fact that she wanted to cry a bit.

I sighed.

"Rainy....list- (G.C.O)

"Ray .......don't lets just go home." She hopped back on my back and layed her head down and I felt her tears splash gently on my back, I wish I could somehow show Rainy I no longer have deep feelings for Roc.

When we got home Rainy was asleep so I put her in her bed and kissed her forehead and whispered goodnight, while I walked of my room and plopped down on my bed giving off a heavy sigh with heavy thoughts in my bed.

Authors pov

Little did Ray or Rainy know that what Ray said was a lie. He knows.....Everybody knows....nobody could ever stop making his love fade from Roc. He wants it too though, so Rainy and Prince can be happy but, he knows Roc will always be in his mind. He just can't and probably won't get him out either.
