Hiya all, so sorry for the extremely late post. I just completely mind-blanked the book and saw a comment today and went back through my story and saw that I really needed to post. So here you go. Enjoy.

Sam's POV
Hunter got sick after his cold little 'shower.' I have no idea where we actually are but it feels like winter down here, out of the sun. His forehead is burning up and he's shivering despite the sweat pouring down his face. And I don't like the sound of his chest. Half the time it sounds like he's trying to cough up a lung. I persuaded him to let me listen to his chest yesterday, I pressed my ear to his chest through the bars. Unfortunately all I heard besides his heart was the liquid in his lungs. It gurgled and rasped as he took breaths in. This was insane! Without warmth, proper food and medicine he was going to die. Without thinking I grabbed one of the wooden batons that lay next to a sleeping guards feet. I then started to smack the bars, running the baton along the walls and smashing the gate. The gaurd sat up with a start, and hissed at me to stay quiet. Of course I didnt listen. Soon enough the thug with one eye came, the one Adri had skewered I thought and flinched. He smirked thinking that I had flinched because of him, regaining my composure I said with all the authority I could muster in my current situation. "I want to talk to the boss. That's the only way you'll get me to stop." He laughed
"You think that's what I'm worried about. A little bit of noise made by a teenage brat!" He looked at the instrument in my hand "what the hell," he muttered to himself. He spied the gaurd cowering in the corner. "What did you do!" He roared,
"N nothing I swear, I may have shutmy eyes for a second but I didn't give it to her I swear." Rage burned in the thugs one eye "you idiot!" He pulled out his gun and aim it at the gaurd who started muttering pleas in Spanish. The one eyed thug sighed heavily lowering the gun, but then lifted it and shot the gaurd in the shoulder, and in the leg. I screamed, shocked by the sudden explosive bang in the confined space. Next thing I knew a whole barrage of thugs a poured in through the door followed by their boss. I was shaking like a leaf nd the baton slipped from my fingers, clattering on the floor before rolling into the bars.
My ears were ringing but I managed to catch the last part of the bosses instructions "and bring her too." I shook my head taking a step back as a few thugs came towards the cell, before lunging forwards for the baton. But just as my hand touched it one eye caught my hand and held me until two others had entered my cell and grabbed me by the arms. I screamed and kicked dragging my feet on the floor as they took me towards the door the boss had just left through.
