Morning arose and the sound of chatter filled the air as he looked onto the ground. There lay a plate with some sort of food he was guessing, it didn't look it though. After carefully picking up the plate he sat on the bed as he glanced over to the other cell again, it was the boy, the boy from last night. He saw him push his food back and forth as you do if you're trying to make it look as you ate something while at an aunts house. The boy caught him staring again and he looked away quickly trying to hide his embarrassment. The boy stood up and threw the plate onto the floor in outrage and shook the bars keeping him from being able to get any closer.
"Do you have a problem with me or do just stare at everyone who is ugly and unwanted!?!?"
"Um......ah......i...uh.......n.......nnn." he mumbled taken by surprise, trying to get proper English out, but unfortunately his brain wasn't connected to his mouth.
"Well?? Do you even speak English?" he said sarcastically still standing there, glaring, and waiting for an answer.
Collin stood up and walked over to the boy, now inches away from their noses touching.
"Oh, I can speak English alright. Let me know if u cant handle it, buddy" he said in stern but confident and cocky way as he walked away from him to the other side of the cell.
"The names Derek." He said with a cheerful smirk.
"Collin. Collin Stone. Its a pleasure to meet you I'm sure." He rolled his eyes as it was such a movie thing to introduce yourself like that and he went back to sit onto his bed.
"Well Collin, this is how it works here. You get a shower every few days in groups, you get three meals at specific time and if miss those time for whatever reason, like you did this morning with breakfast because you were... still in bed, you don't get that meal. Things are different here than other prisons so get used to it. If you need anything, well Ill be here since that escape idea hasn't come through yet" He walked off back to the other side of the cell to where his bed was, chuckling softly.
Collin laughed at this comment too and went back to the bars where they had once stood before.
"Derek?" He was quiet and waited for reassurance to go on, but did anyways. "Why is someone like you in prison?"
Derek looked at Collin, confused and almost outraged. He went to open his mouth but was interrupted by a jail guard. The guard looked at them both with suspicion and let them out of the cell for free roaming time. This part of the prison didn't even look like it was a jail, it looked like somewhere u went for holiday. There were fake trees, grass, a pool and many, many seats to sit and talk upon. There sat Derek, at one of the biggest tables alone, looking depressed and broken. Like how Collin felt. Like how Collin was. He started to walk over to him, kinda glad that he wasn't alone and that he knew someone already.
Hesitantly, Collin started to approach Derek so didn't look like some staring fangirl, when at least ten people started to practically run in Derek's direction. Both males and females went up to Derek's and what looked like the leader of the gang, eyed him. At this stage he had already stood up and gave him the same dark look. Collin, concerned at this point in time, sat and stared at the group not far from him, trying to understand what was happening. Even if he had just met this boy, he still cared if he was beaten up right in front of him, despite their encounter before. Without warning they both burst with laughter and started to give each other hugs and handshakes with back slapping and everything. The rest of them did the same and sat down at the large table and started to talk at the top of their lungs.
Collin now had truly missed his chance of talking to Derek on this free roaming time, as he turned away from the group to rest his head on his arms, placed crossed on the table.
Not long after a slightly short girl with almost golden hair started to quickly walk over to Derek. She had white headphones in her ears with the music blasting so loud that Collin could hear it as she walked by. She had red glasses that made appearance look even sexier than she did as the curvy girl rocked her form. Derek now turned to look at the sprinting girl and got up as well to start heading toward her. The girl yelled his name as their bodies collided and she wrapped her slim legs around his waist and her hands on the back of Derek's neck and in his hair as he looked briefly uncomfortable. They shared a passionate kiss for several seconds as Dan's hands now slid down, squeezing her roughly as did the kisses become too. After minutes had gone by they now were in a tight hug, her face buried in the crook of his neck as her feet dangled inches from touching the floor.
"Mate, didn't they just see each other 2 weeks ago?? Their relationship is crazy innit? Shame that we're separated most of the time. I might have picked one up too." The tall friend of Derek's said to the guy next to him as they looked as what now seems as the inseparable couple.
