A/N:
I'm sorry that this took a long time to write but I haven't really been inspired lately. But I'm gonna TRY and update as much as I can but school starts soon for me so I don't know. Just a little warning that I thought that I was gonna take up now, this book is gonna include a lot of curse-words, talk about sexual assault, assault,  harassment, abuse, sexual abuse, stalking, death and more inappropriate and uncomfortable things so if you don't feel comfortable reading about that kind of things you may want to stop reading now. I'm not saying that it's just gonna be that and sad things but it might include a lot of that kind of things. Peace out ✌🏻

I watched as the news sank in to the team that we were gonna have another member. Danny walked up to Olivia and extended his hand. "My name is detective Danny Williams. It's a pleasure to meet you Olivia and I'm sure you're gonna be a great asset to the team." After the team had introduced them self we went on with the case. "Steve, can I talk you? In private?" Danny suddenly asked. "Uh, yeah sure." I said as we walked in to his office. "Why did she join the team?" He asked me as soon as the door closed and I shrugged. "Governor said so." "Huh." Was all he said as he seemed to watch her every move. "I mean, don't you think that it's a bit strange that she's joining the team when the governor is practically breathing down your neck to see if you does something wrong so he can have your badge. And now, she's here, on the governors request." Now that he mentions it, it actually feels kinda fishy. "I get you, Danno. But let's not do anything right now, let's see what happens first. I mean, having her here makes it a while of a lot easier to keep an eye on her." He gave me a glare before he walked out of the room. Typical Danny, always wanting to do something right there and then. I followed him out before it became too suspicious.

I watched as Steve and Danny were talking, almost looking like they were arguing. I could feel Danny's eyes on me the whole time as I was speaking with Kono, who by the way, feels relieved that she's not the only girl on the team anymore. "So what's the case?" I asked when Steve and Danny had come back. Kono showed us an photo of a guy, whose name is Jimmy Barnes. "Okay, so Barnes is a well known drug and arms dealer on the island. Yesterday we got news that he was gonna try to get of the island with AK-47's so the FBI tried to stop them. This is how it ended." Kono then showed us multiple photos of dead FBI agents. "Only one of Barnes's men got killed and 7 FBI agents lost their lives." Poor agents. All they did was trying to save multiple people's lives but instead all their wives and children gets a call that their husband and daddy isn't coming home ever again. I opened my mouth to say something when my phone rang. "Excuse me." I said and sent an apologetic smile towards the rest of the team before I stepped outside to take the call. "Hello?" I answered. "Where the hell are you?!" My soon to be ex-boyfriend screamed at me through the phone. "I already told you, I'm in Hawaii for work." I said with a long sigh as I pinched the bridge of my nose and started to walk back and forth. "You're probably there to fuck some dude, aren't you? You worthless bitch, I knew that I couldn't trust you. I don't even know why I got into a relationship with someone as ugly and stupid as you. I mean have you even seen yourself in the mirror sometime-" "SHUT UP!" I screamed as I interrupted him, making the 5-0 team look towards me. I could feel the tears start to pool at the bottom of my eyes but I willed my self from crying. "What did you just tell me to do?" He asked, his voice dangerous low. "I'm breaking up with you." I whispered, so low that I was afraid that he didn't hear and that I needed to repeat myself. "You little slut, you're sleeping with someone on Hawaii aren't you? You little whore! When you get home I'm gonna beat your ass until you can't walk and then I'm gonna fuck you so hard that you won't be able to walk for days and I'm gonna show you that I'm much better than the guy you're fucking right now, and god help me if I don't just kill you when you get home." He said and I could feel multiple tears run down my face. "I'm not coming home." I said, in a little bit more confident voice. I haven't even noticed Steve coming up behind me. "You listen to me, you little-" he started to shout but more didn't I hear as Steve took my phone and started to shout at Matthew and told him that if he ever laid a finger on me again he would kill him.

I saw some more tears come out of Olivia's eyes and I quickly pulled her into a hug. "I'm okay." She said, her voice cracking ever so slightly. "You sure?" I asked. "Yeah. I just need to go to the toilet to freshen up." She said as she walked towards the toilet. Maybe having another woman on the team wouldn't hurt that much. And where did this feeling that made me want to protect her small frame from everything bad in the world come from? Anyway, I walked back in towards my team. "What happened?" Danny asked. "Her boyfriend, well probably ex-boyfriend now, was being a real jerk to her. I think she was in an abusive relationship." I whispered the last part as I saw her walk back in. "So." She stated, clapping her hands together. "What we got on Jimmy Barnes?"

A/N:
Once again, this is purely fiction, this never happened and if someone out there is in an abusive relationship I just wanna say that it's NOT okay and you DON'T deserve what's happening to you. If you want someone to talk to I'm all ears, I won't ever tell anyone what you choose to tell me and I'll try and help you the best I can. Also, I'm sorry if you don't like how this story is turning out because of all the strong language and all the mature material in this book but I promise that it gets better in a few chapters, this is just back story of a kind. Anyway, please leave a comment or a vote if you liked this chapter and we'll see each other next time, peace out✌🏻💕🙌🏽
