Broken

Prologue

As I was jotting down tonights homwork for Mrs.Kinnes science class, my eyes couldn't help but gaze down on Noah Moadan. Noah Moadan was probably the cutest tenth grader in Glen High. There was no doubt that every girl was dying to go out with him Kara was no exception. However, in what centuary was that gonna happen? They both came from two completely different worlds. Kara was the nerdy science geek and Noah was a popular jock on the football team in Glen High. But it only took one day for all of Kara's thoughts to change in a heartbeat. 

On a foggy Thursday afternoon during science, Kara suddenly saw Noah's Burbey black shoes step towards her direction,her heart raced a thousound beats a minute. No he wasn't going to. Was he? No he couldn't possibly be about to do what she thinks he is. As he reached her desk, Kara didn't know if she was imaging or if the words " Do you want to hang out sometime"? was actually coming out of the mouth of Noah Moadan. Those words seemed so casual, so direct. Kara felt speechless. She didn't know what on earth to say. She felt like she was about to go down the steepest drop on the highest rollercoaster that was made. The words "um um.......sure" sputtered out of her dry mouth. 

For weeks, Kara and Noah spent loads of time together. They went to the movies, bowling and she even tutored him with his science homework. "so what is nitrogen"? he asked. "It is a unreactive gas that forms about seventy eight percent of the worlds atmosphere" I replyed. His hands brushed against by lucious hair and I just found myslef giggling like a lunatic. Our eyes gazed down in the same direction and all of a sudden, he kissed me . My heart felt like it stopped forget that, it felt like time stopped. He made me feel special, so important, like I was the only girl in the world. That was until she found out all about his dirty game.

As Kara was walking down the hall, the sight of Noah in his adorable polo red sweater made her blush and break into an enormous grin. All of a sudden, she heard some words that changed everything. "So dude, how much longer are you gonna date that weird, geeky girl"?, "whats her name.. Karana"?. It was at that moment that Kara knew that something wasn't right.  "Not long, I just need one more B and then bye bye her " he smirked. Tears wildly flooded down Kara's eyes."Please tell me I'm having a tradegic nighmare" she desperately thought to herself. She couldn't possibly in a million years hear what she thinks she's hearing. Kara felt like hundred pounds of rocks just came visiously colliding down on her like a thunder storm that suddenly erupted out of a dark sky. "How could you" she helplessly cried at him. She ran away in tears before she could even glance at his reaction. "I doubt he even care" she thought to herself. 

The next few weeks were hands down the most challenging painful weeks of Kara's life. The thoughts just came crashing down on her. He used, shattered and broke her without a single care in the world. He didn't mean all those heartfilling things he said to her. The sad thing was that she meant every single word. She was falling in love with him and he did make her feel so special. Noah had that thing that made her feel so important. He made her feel loved. But all those words faded in the blink of an eye. She was done falling for peoples horrible games. She was done. Done trusting for a long time. In fact. she wasn't sure if she would ever be able to trust again.
