have any thoughts on sexism? I do. We aren't born sexist. Sexism is learned even by small comments as in "man up", "act like a lady", and especially "Boys will be boys". Those comments are so lame it's basically saying "I don't know how to parent but I vaguely understand gender". Instead of saying "act like a lady" you should say "be polite and respectful" because not only women should do those things. And instead of saying "man up" say "have courage and stay strong" because not only men should do those things. on another note here is a conversation I found that changed a lot of my perspective and it might change yours too
