Jack was heading to Mark's via cab. He's been there many times. This was just another visit. L.A has become his second home by now. Getting used to the bright sunshine and city life. Jack looks out the window, seeing all things that he recognized. Knowing what landmarks mean that he's getting closer.
Jack hasn't been acting like himself lately. In his videos he doesn't seem to be the joyful Jackaboy that his fans, friends, and family know and love.
~Flashback to 1 month ago~
Jack was sitting at his desk, delaying on editing from what he thinks is an illness. He hears a bing from his phone, it's Mark. He sent him a text. It read,
"Hey man, wanna skype?" Jack sighs and rubs his eyes from exhaustion, and picks up his iPhone to reply.
"Sure, any reason why? Recording a game?" He hit send, leaned back in his chair, and waited for the soon to be incoming text to arrive. A couple minutes passed before he heard the bing again.
"I'll explain in the call. I'm online." Jack read the text in annoyance. But sat back up in his chair, and opened up skype. Few seconds passed then he got the call from Mark, and clicked answer. It took a few seconds for the cameras to turn on. But when they did Mark had his on his bright smile.
"Hey Sean!" Mark said using his real name rather than his stage name, trying to keep a smile.
"Hi..." Jack side with more of a half smile. He coughed and hit his chest.
"Okay what's been going on lately? Where did that loud Irish potato go?" Mark sounded like he was trying to be funny but died off near the end.
"I honestly don't know man, I have been feeling awful lately. Like throwing up, not to gross you out but it's colored black." Jack mumbled near the end of his sentence.
"Woah woah, black?"
"Yeah, I've gone to the doctors and they all say I'm fine. That it's probably a stomach flu." Jack coughing once more.
"Jeez, sounds like a case of "Imissmarkidous"" Mark laughed at himself. "Ever thought of coming back to the sunny city of L.A?
"I was thinking about it after my sickness fades. Which I thought would've been done and over with by now," Jack sighed, "This is hell."
"Why wait? Come over now!" Mark exclaimed.
"Dude I'm sick! I don't wanna risk it!" Jack's face turned sour, and held his hand up as if he was denying something that was being held out to him.
"Ugh, I'll give it two weeks. Then you're coming to L.A by next month." Mark demanded, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.
"Alright alright ya goof," Jack struggled to laugh, "I'll book the flights now."
~Flashback Over~
Jack's unknown sickness had faded a bit. He doesn't throw up as much anymore. But he still has that gut feeling.
Closer and closer to Mark's house, Jack got more and more excited. He started to recognize the shops and restaurants. Leading up to Mark's apartment complex. It was a huge place, easily recognizable. But he started to feel twisted in the stomach, the gut feeling came back. Jack was getting carsick.
"Oh god no, not now. Ugh..." Jack took a deep breath, "It'll be fine. Im almost there anyway, it won't be a problem." Jack thought to himself. He took more deep breaths to calm himself down.
