How to help.

Maddie's Pov

I look around the next day when I wake up 3 weeks in this place I wonder when I can get out.

I look and see a note from alex saying he went to go get food for me.

Just as I turn there in the doorway is Dr. Cummings.

He comes over to me. 

"When can I leave?" I ask him softly and he looks at me smiling replying, "You can leave here shortly Maddie you have kept improving since day one of you waking up. In just one more week you can go home if there are no step backs." I smile "How can I get myself help not to have any step backs?" He looks at me and shakes his head, "Just keep doing what you are Maddie because that is working for you." I smile again more this time when Alex comes in holding food and ice cream. The doctor shakes his head, "Ice Cream for breakfast Alex? Really?" He walks out laughing as Alex sticks a spoonful into his mouth. I giggle slightly 

Alex comes over, "What did the doc want?" I smile brightly and point to the food and he gives me the cookies, ice cream, and sausages. "He said if I keep up the good work I can leave in a week!" Alex's face lights up and he smiles brightly. I could almost kiss them, I mean I wait nothing never mind. 

~six days later~

Over the next week I keep getting stronger and able to move around more without being tired, I have one more day until I go home, today Kenzie can't come because there is a comp but they are sending me her solo it's dedicated to me. I smile thinking as Alex helps me out of the robe silently and into a pair of shorts and a shirt that I am allowed to wear now. I smile thinking about it. 

I am walking with Alex as I see Lilly come into the hospital. I jump behind Alex before two guards take her down the hallway past us to go see her mom who is being taken off the breathing monitor today. She sees me and smirks. I move tighter into Alex and once she is into her moms room we have a guard stand outside my door as me and Alex go back into the room sitting down we talk for a while.

"Hey Alex."

"Hey Mads"

"Remember the day I woke up?"

"Yes I remember tht why you ask maddie?"

"Because when I was in the little mini coma I heard you say you loved me."

He blushes and nods his head, "I do."

I blush this time. "Did you understand what I said back?"

He smiles softly. "Yes." Then all of a sudden alex slowly leans in and Kisses me,

I kiss back and then we smile at each other.
