Scotts POV
_____________
I watched as Isaac practically started having a panic attack. I quickly ran to his side putting a hand on his shoulder. "Isaac- whats going on" I said talking lowly. I glanced back at my mom as she noticed what was happening and walked over looking at Isaac as his breathing sped up. "Isaac- listen to me okay calm down" I started to freak out a little more than I should have. To tell you the truth the way Isaac was breathing made me pretty uneasy."Whatever is getting you this anxious must be pretty bad so tell me what it is" I spoke carefully but with anger in my tone.
His eyes kept glancing at me but looking back at the floor. His chest kept rising and with every heavy breath his fingers clutched his own chest tighter. I swallowed hard and pressed my fingers into his shoulder harder assuring him that I was still there. He wasn't making any exact eye contact with me and it looked like he was zoned out. I couldn't help but feel this huge pain in my chest as I saw his troubled and scared face.
"Ill be right back let me get some things that I think will calm him down" my mom said quickly disappearing upstairs. As soon as she was completely out of sight I grabbed both of his shoulders tightly and bought him down to the floor sitting him against the cabinets.
I sternly looked at him and gripped his face forcing him to look up at me. Isaac always took bad news and other troubling things very seriously. His eyes were on me but his mind wasn't. I knew he wasn't paying attention to me.
"Isaac, whatever it is I'm here, and you'll never be alone. You'll never have to face anything or anyone alone" I kept my voice low but with determination in my voice.
"I-I don't want you getting into this, I-I don't want you g-getting hurt Scott" he said stuttering badly and his eyesight focused on the floor again. His breathing began to regulate and become slower and back to normal. I took a sigh of relief but my heart started beating a mile a minute once those words came out of his mouth.
"I-I.." I starred at him speechless for a while but later spoke up. "Don't worry about me Isaac. Just tell me whats going on" I said barely being able to take in breaths.
He sighed deeply maybe from the struggle to breath or finally giving up and letting me know. He shifted against the cabinets and I finally pulled my hand away from his face. His eyes met with mine and I could see the fear in his eyes. I winced slightly and he looked away again.
"Do you even know who that is? In the living room?" he said with a shaky voice.
I furrowed my brow and inched closer to him on the floor. "Your friend. I mean he told me-" he cut me off "He lied" he said without hesitation.
I starred at him weirdly and he spoke up again. "He's bad news Scott. He shouldn't be here" he said shaking his head, looking at me again.
"Oh come on Isaac. I think your overreacting. I have to admit that he's a little weird looking.. I mean I don't mean ugly. He's obviously very attractive-" he cut me off again.
"Scott ! I don't care. tell him to go" he said rolling his eyes. He seemed to be annoyed. I don't understand why he would have such a reaction? Honestly he looks like he was really excited and interested in seeing Isaac again.
I laughed slightly shaking my head. "Isaac- Im not telling him to leave, my mom really wanted to do something like this for you and its going to break her heart if we don't do it" I said still talking lowly , aware that they were one room away from us.
He sucked this teeth and rolled his eyes again. "Scott. Fine do whatever you want - but no ones making me stay in the same room as him" he spoke a little louder with each word.
